Art VandelaySkyBlueBenLatEx Cup Ticking along nicely until R4. If anyone sees my wheels, please hand them in at the clubhouse. They flew off spectacularly and I never found them again. Cheers.

Latex Cup Round 1 Having been given the reverse top seed, I came to the event with a confidence ne’er seen thus far. Short lived, as one of the emcee’s avatars, Fake Art Vandelay, interrupted my walk to the first tee. “Look, Doc, we all know how this is going to go down. Not one of your approaches will reach the green, and you’re bound to find water at least once. In addition, most of your drives will either be sandy or grassy, and your short game is atrocious. In other words, hand it over.” Artificial Art relieved me of my putter. Just as well, as it’s pretty much useless. My scorecard reflected as such. Rd 1: +5 Proof of today’s efforts: FIR 71% and GIR 50%. Avg distance to pin 31 ft, par breakers 17%, and hair pulled out - most.

Be well, Sir Randy - stay strong against the storm! A strong high pressure in the Atlantic kept the storm from turning into the Tampa Bay Area. We had winds of 35-50 for most of the night but no power loss for me. I was up most of the night watching the storm on the radars and the local news and had the generator all fired up and ready to go. Usually winds around 50-60 knocks our neighborhood power out and was really expecting that but it didn’t happen and we are obviously happy. 2 years ago we had a storm to the south of us and we had lost power for 12 days and in the Florida heat and humidity it sucks. The storm surge was the main issue in the Tampa Bay area. And thanks for all in TBC with regards to the storm. It was nerve wracking on Tue and in the middle of the night.

Great to hear from you Randy. Been watching as much as we can from here. We have family around Fort Lauderdale, although not affected this time we always take a keen interest on the goings on in Florida. Only 6 weeks to go until our next visit.
