lul, oh no I just let them fly. Truth be told I don't really know how to turn the turn order on but I think I seen someone do it in settings. If I had to watch them all swing I would never do it lol as you know it would increase the round time by 4 I'm guessing. I still had tension in my hands this round and they were shaking slightly around hole 14 thru 18. Funny how TGC rounds gets the nerves and heart pumping. It's really odd since TGC Leaderboards mean nothing but on the other hand they mean everything. The Ghost Balls kind of helped me focus a little bit but still unsure if I like playing with ghosts or not. Sometimes they bothered my eyesight and flow as I like to play fast. You know... like Ricky Bobby! I love playing with a ghost. Slows the tempo down a bit so it doesn’t feel like speed golf. One ghost max though. Takes me about 40 minutes per round with a ghost with turn order on. It’s right in the pause menu settings. Great Advice but I'm way too Obsessive Compulsive and too high strung to wait for ghosts to take their shots. Appreciate the information though!! GL in True Sim this week! |

GL in True Sim this week! Same here. Like to get around in about 15 minutes! Managed to fit in 14 rounds today - 4 CC 4 TST 1 Brew Crew 3 Designers Showcase and 2 XB Seniors! Couldn’t do that if I’m faffing about waiting for a ghost to take his shot. Having said that I’d benefit massively by slowing down. Make so many unforced errors. |

Art VandelayPub Patrol - Week 1  Coming off a couple frustrating weeks despite somehow easily making the cut last week  I did what every person does when they’re upset, spend money 😂. A little retail therapy  now sees my golfer no longer wearing the same clothes all four rounds and at least for this week, not having to smell the stench seems to have helped. Started off strong in round 1 keeping a clean card. Hit a few wonky shots and missed a lot of fairways but was able to recover and survive.  Round 2 I realized the scheduler did the same thing as last week and used the forward tees in round 1 to help build confidence 😂. Playing from farther back I still played pretty well on the front before hopping on the par train on the back. Decided on hole 16 to go check out the beach only to realize it was a private beach  and had to return to the course. Was beginning to think here we go again as I made double  but I was able to birdie the last two holes to make up for what turned out to be my only blemish for the event Rounds 3 and 4 were pretty similar to round 1. Made a decent amount of putts, had some lucky breaks and took advantage. Choked away a chance at a double digit score in round 4  but having three 9s and a 4 (which is basically a nine with some edge 😂)  was satisfying   Hope I can keep it up for next week

I like to play at my own pace I never add ghosts I can play a round as fast as Ben if I make a mistake playing that way so be it. It’s like telling Jimmy White or Ronnie O’Sullivan to slow down at snooker that’s how they learnt the game. Most of my games in the side events that Carol and Ben put on are played with very little concentration almost speed golf style as I like to look round courses for ideas in my designs.

Season 2 Week 1 or Is It Rerun Season Already? Need to turn my attention to the American Foopball Playoffs (my Bengals are in the conference championship later today), so keeping this short. Trevor trevormendez is a fine Division 4 sub.  I, on the other hand, remain unsuitable for Division 4 consumption. Art, it says the search server is down. I'll just put this up in the hope you see it.
Tried an experiment just now. I've never once played CC rounds on a Sunday, so I decided to give it a go and also add a "bull in a china shop" approach. Speed-golfed as fast as I possibly could. I left about three shots out there, but here are rounds 1 and 2.
As an opponent I suggest you don't EVER try this again Bear 🤣🤣. Well played Sir. |

Real Ale SkyBlueBen Go West, like the Pet Shop Boys said, so I did. A tough course but really enjoyed it. Was struggling a bit in a few recent rounds. Was great to go out on this course, no pressure, and just try a few things. As you can see from the Scorecard, still need to work on a few things, mainly putting. Just not feeling it lately. Pressure of moving up to CC-B might be getting to me 😉. Thanks guys for giving us somewhere else to golf. This and Carol's Designers Showcase Society are a great way to sort things out on the course.  |
