Art VandelayJust completed my first 2 rounds and of course missed the cut. I love the game of golf but when you have a 5 ft putt and it runs off the green 30 ft away there is something wrong and it's probably me. We will see next week when it's default ball only. Rd1 -3 Rd2 -3

There's been confusion about this and if you think the way the game works is dumb, well... you're not alone. When you trade 3 orange for a specific slot/attribute, you don't guarantee that it'll be the highest. You guarantee that you'll get at least 8(?) of that. I have no idea if they're equally distributed or if it's weighted in some direction. With the rng roulette in play, it's possible to get 9-12 of another random stat that is not the one that you requested. It just labels the fitting based on the highest one. The system still gave you +8 or whatever of the stat you wanted, it just happened to give you more of another one too. Remember that the stats can go down to -4 or whatever, so even if you get +8, that's still pretty good even if you wanted 10 or higher. Looks like you're definitely right Gordy š. Transition is +9, but because Timing is +10, it's called a Timing shaft. I'm fine with that. My problem is that I wanted to replace a Power fitting +10. Unfortunately the new fitting is Power -2, therefore losing 12 to Power and leaving a 20 yard gap between PW and GW. Too much. Don't get me started on why PW isn't included in Wedges š². On my other clubs in the bag, irons for instance, a Transition shaft fitting is +4 Power, so I would have only lost 6 from my Power fitting and things would be fine. Hope this makes sense. Very fiddly I know, but reds are hard to come by and I lost 5 for nothing. Yeah, I get you, and the "oh, this looks good... but it threw all my yardages off" thing is why I'm dreading a big re-fit. My plan now is just not even looking at them for a bit so I don't just make tiny change here, tiny change there. I want to look at things from the ground up rather than "well, I already have this one on, so it is cheaper if I just build around it". Of course, I think a full set at the top tier could mean up to about 6k currency or something? Back to the Career grind, I guess!!! |

I do not feel like the game was designed with the default ball in mind. I have played golf for decades with a single HC and I have never seen run outs like we get in the game. I will keep trying as always but some of the fun factor is not here for me..

Art VandelayWeek 1 Part 1 Just absolutely gross tempo/swing path on first and second shots.  Short game and putting actually werenāt awful considering the positions I put myself in. Round 2 shouldāve been better but missed a few putts on the low side. Should have more time to practice  the rest of the week so Iāll play the remaining rounds later on

Judas š¤£š¤£š A long time xboxer sorry canāt remember his name now changed to PS to keep his position on the WGC when HB brought the tempo in, sorry I lost all respect for him. Edit: Sorry but when you need to change your platform stay where you are on a game thatās just beyond me. |

Started average and parred the front 9 to death, then realising it was midnight, I plowed on when I should have listened to my body and actually fell asleep inbetween the odd couple of shots and this caused an utter meltdown to be +6 for the final 5 holes to finish +1 overall. My own stupid fault and promise Captain Carol I won't do it again.. Can't even blame alcohol as I don't drink and had an alcohol free beer during the rounds lol

Week 1, Round 2 or North āTil You Smell It then West āTil You Step in It  Folks, team golf is a team game. But sometimes you find yourself only 3 strokes above the cut line in CC-J. Then itās every man for himself. And with apologies to The Matchstick Man Harveydog500, and the remaining Dickens Cider gang, at least I made the cut (for now). Art VandelayRd 2: +2  Couldnāt even avoid a tie with our Martooni opposition in what should have been a gimme round. That said, do better next time, Matchstick!  Just kidding - love my gang  |
