I spoke with him a while back, he answered that he will not be buying the new game, bad taste in mouth over people who review new courses etc, same thing he went on about before. After that he wished me well, removed me from facebook, Les also and removed me from steam. Carol I can’t understand why he’s removed us from his FB friends list we’ve done nothing to him, I hadn’t noticed. Very simple, does not want to assoiciate with golf friends any longer.. I was a bit surprised and a bit hurt to be removed without explanation but that's how the cookie crumbles. |

I didn’t have him on FB but a little disappointing that he’s cut himself adrift. Maybe he’ll return to golf with the EA version and we can all get together again. |

Division 3 RUMbles to a close:  Ken coggin66 proves too much for the group finishing without a loss and topping the Dash to the bar. Congrats Ken! Onward! |

And finally, Division 2 closes out with perhaps the tightest race in RUMble history (I'm going with this until someone wants to dig through all the old RUMbles to prove otherwise):  With an evenly competed head to head that had all 8 gawlfers within 4 points, it all came down to the Dash. Dave dave69, Sean prowse00 and Doe Doe Coba proved fastest (thirstiest?) and knotted at the top. Doe's effort propelled him past Ross asyoudo64 to win the division by the narrowest of margins. Congrats Doe, well deserved! In all the RUMble recaps I did not talk about the relegated as with 2K23 on the horizon the next RUMble will be seated out based on scores using the new game. Thanks all for RUMbling along, biggest shout out is for Paul B sid snott the Godfather of RUMble. Thanks Paul for giving us your brain baby. Onward! |

Noticed for the past week or so Simon SAM has gone awol. Last log in here 4 Sept. Disappeared from my Steam friends list. I fear the worst. Hoping for the best. I haven't herd anything from Simon but I can see that he's read the message 14hrs ago with no reply, I to have been removed from FB, his discord channel & steam friends list. He has also removed himself from the brew crew discord. So unless I hear anything from him I'd say Carol is pretty much spot on, really a shame as I thought Simon & I were good mates. |

Last Call Round 1
Art Vandelay Always an absolute treat to play this course so I'm going to stretch this out over the week so just Round 1 for now. After playing very little over the last couple of weeks I wasn't sure what to expect but started out well and things were going swimmingly until I decided to slip on the speedo's for a proper swim on the 6th with a slow out of nowhere.  Settled onto the par train after that.  Onto the back nine and managed to pick up the odd shot despite missing a simple 7 footer....  Then it all went quiet until the 18th when I left myself way short on the approach but then sank a long bomb for the Eddie to send me into the clubhouse rather happier. Onward!!!

I would think it is highly unlikely that Simon will touch EA Golf as he is a PCer through and through plus he stated sometime ago that his enjoyed TGC more than the old EA Tiger games because of the designer and with no designer in the new EA Golf game it will be a no purchase as it will be with me. |
