Looking ahead.... Interested in how everybody is finding the new format. I feel it is far more team focused and hope you are enjoying the way the pairs have been mixed around so you get to play alongside all your team mates. Anything you'd like to see changed or done differently? I appreciate a few are drifting away from the current game and it would be great to see something about 2K and EA's plans for the next pixel golf games. All seems to have gone very quiet on that front. Rest assured, whatever happens, The Brew Crew will continue to add a bit of spice to your pixel golf. Cue gif of Ross' asyoudo64 favourite group....  I personally prefer the previous format of two pairs rounds and then two singles (strokeplay) rounds against an opponent of similar skill level. I think that gives a good balance of team and individual competition.
But who cares what I think - I'm just a sub!

I care Kie. I'm genuinely interested what people think and you're the only one that has replied so far! We had to do something to accommodate teams of 6 to shorten the season. Or alternatively dump a load of players lol We could have gone with 2 pairs and 2 singles but we wanted to try and introduce match play into the singles and it would simply have been too much work to do match play for Rounds 3 AND 4. Art will tell us if it's too much work to do Round 4 in match play!! 36 players is a lot to accommodate and sometimes you have to find a compromise between format and work involved. Hopefully you'll want to return full time in the future. |

hmmm! This game is broken it has put me in the water and will not reset me with a penalty shot position.. I have now dropped out of the round 4 times and out of the game twice, but I'm still stuck. I am in the middle of my 3rd round and will now not try again until tomorrow so beware that if I'm still stuck I might not be able to complete my rounds. It happened to me playing Spyglass on Sunday. I was stuck and couldn’t do anything. I came back on Tuesday to see if anything changed and it gave me my drop. |

Rd2 -5 I play both PC and XB Ernie and the tempo does seem to vary on both systems from day to day. Can’t decide if I’m imagining it, it’s because I’m mixing systems to play on or I’m just a bit crap! |

Hopefully you'll want to return full time in the future. Yes, it's not easy and you do a very good job of it. I guess I see it that I am playing in a strokeplay tournament and to have one of those rounds converted to matchplay is a bit unusual when I have not played it as a matchplay round. I suppose the bonus of strokeplay singles in R3 and R4 from an admin point of view is that there is no scorecard conversion work to do. But if others get a buzz from R4 being matchplay then maybe it is worth the admin effort.

I like the new format. If we go back to two singles matches, maybe keep one of them match play if it’s not too much work. To me it seems like the ultimate equalizer for people of similar skill level |
