Thanks Ben and Paul for your assistance on xbox controller cables. Ended up buying 2 of them. A cheapie - which turned out waaaaay too short. Never thought 1 meter is so bloody short. Guess i'd make out to be a good fisherman story teller if i put my mind to it. Have to buy a rod first. Well, prolly don't need a rod to tell fisherman stories, but should read up on bait 'n stuff to make the story more believable at least. And then hopped back in the car, shopped around and found the next in size which at 3 meters long costs 7x as much!!! Waaaay too long, but 3rd world problems, hehe. No official xbox cables to be found anywhere, but i tested the cable on new controller, works a charm Harveydog500 SkyBlueBen |

Art VandelayRound 3 started slow but finished hot, -12. Round 4 the opposite, -6 at the turn, ran outta gas and finished -7. To summarize:  To specifize on the final fizzle:  My best CC event in a while, fist time in the -40s since Beirut in November. Not gonna lie, felt nice  . Onward GI&SI!!

Art Vandelay Apologies to the bandits, but this is going to be my last tournament. Thanks to all who run The Brew Crew and made this a lot of fun for me, and put back some excitement into playing the cc rounds, (especially Ben) who made me feel very welcome when I joined and to you all, sorry I didn't stay for longer. Heart and mind weren't in it after some awful family-related news I received just before I teed it up. 57.89% medium putts over the two rounds summed it up, really, but I tried as much as I could.
More downwards than upwards today

Good luck Don't worry Ken, there's loads of times were I've gone wtf happened there , normally it's like the shot didn't feel any different from the others, but was 92% or it's gone in a completely different direction to what I see with the wind and feedback from the swing meter |

Art VandelayRound 2 Pub Crawl was going much better than round 1 until I slam-dunked a ball into the water with the (of course) red fast off the tee and shot myself in the foot. I'm playing like absolute crap this week, even though this score was all right. R2 : -10 (62)

I played these ones with some water in my eyes as yesterday I had to say fare thee well to 20 years companion Tilleul (Linden). I can't count the times I designed and played cyber-golf under its questioning gaze : "What the hell he's he doing? it's me the home's grumpy !"
I'm so, so sorry. Thank you for giving this beautiful kitty cat 20 years of love, warmth and contentment. Sending you all the strength I have to spare. Thank you all for your kind and heart-warming messages.

Looking ahead.... Interested in how everybody is finding the new format. I feel it is far more team focused and hope you are enjoying the way the pairs have been mixed around so you get to play alongside all your team mates. Anything you'd like to see changed or done differently? I appreciate a few are drifting away from the current game and it would be great to see something about 2K and EA's plans for the next pixel golf games. All seems to have gone very quiet on that front. Rest assured, whatever happens, The Brew Crew will continue to add a bit of spice to your pixel golf.
