You know when you have played too many rounds in a row and the focus starts to slip and everything goes to hell? Well that happened before OFTR. And holy hell that course isn’t set up for a tired player with lack of focus. I’m sorry to my fellow teammates. I will turn it around next week. arthurvandelay

WutpaArt VandelayRd 4 Freterhead- started off well and then for some reason my driver sounded like I was hitting a sack of pillows and mostly fasts which put me in bad approach chances.

Finishing up for the week.
Decided to play OFTR first to get it out of the way as I'd played it earlier in the week for practice and shot hundreds. Had a handful of shocking tempos, including three shots from inside 75 yards that went about halfway, and didn't putt well either. I like the course but hate having to play it, if that makes sense lol.
Round 3 was decent, but I just missed so many really good opportunities.
I played worse tee to green in round 4, but my putting was spectacularly awful. Lost count of how many putts I left short. I do really like the course, though. Maybe it's the lighting that makes it look great, but I love it.
Inane waffling over. Scores on doors, in the order I've described them (OFTR, round 3, round 4):

Art VandelayWonderful start to the season. An astonishing buquet of slows and fasts of all sorts of variation topped off with inability to execute puts. It can only get better - onwards. OFTR Round 3 Round 4

Hello Friends! Jim Nantz here to bring you results from the opening week of Season 9 of The Brew Crew. A new format brought some excitement as two tours arose from the former TGC based Pub Crawl. Let’s get out to the action starting with The Americas Tour
Match 1: Liver Let Die vs Duffer Downing Doubles The Doubles came out strong on The Americas Tour looking to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with this season taking both matches to open the season. Liver would show their mettle on day 2 however as the fought back to take the split and keep themselves in the match as they left to go around the world trailing 6-2
Match 2: Foregasms vs Brews Brothers Forgasms came out on a mission to prove that teaming the best player and the worst player (based on averages) would not be an issue. With Ross looking to break the Mark L curse Forgasms cruised to a dominant performance in the Americas to take a commanding lead overseas 7-1
Match 3: Hobgoblins vs Moonshine Runners Hobgoblins and Moonshine Runners each looked to get off to strong starts in the season with neither backing down in the Americas. Hobgoblins would strike first taking the opening match. However the momentum would not stick as the Moonshine Runners struck back to win the next two matchups to take the lead on day 2. Hobgoblins would quickly level and the two teams took off overseas tied at 4.
Match 4: Dirty Old Men vs Bourbon Bandits The Old Men and the Bandits proved to be evenly matched as their battle in the Americas went back and forth with neither team wanting to get too far ahead of the other. The Bandits took the opening match each day but the Old Men refused to go down easy and were able to draw the match back level each day
JN: What an exciting start to the season. Let’s move overseas to the Rest of the World Tour
Match 1: Liver Let Die vs Duffer Downing Doubles Hopping across the pond wouldn’t slow Triple D’s momentum as they won the opening match of day 3. Liver would not Let themselves Die as they kept their faint hopes alive with a win to close the day. A win from Marcus to open day 4 sparked thoughts of a comeback but that fire was quickly put out as the Triple Ds slammed the door on day 4 taking the final 3 matches to win 14-6 going away.
Match 2: Foregasms vs Brews Brothers The Foregasms continued to pour it on upon their arrival overseas taking both matches on day 3 to clinch the win early. Looking to establish themselves as the early favorites, they continued to take the Brews Brothers out behind the woodshed taking 3 of the 4 matches on day 4 to win in dominate fashion, 17-3.
Match 3: Hobgoblins vs Moonshine Runners The trip across the Atlantic did little to separate the two teams on day 3 as the Runners took the opening match quickly followed by a Hobgoblin victory to once again level the match. The final day would prove to be the deciding day as the Runners served up some questionable Moonshine to their opponents and took advantage of their condition. Day 4 was all Runners taking 7 of an 8 possible points with only Ben preventing the day from being a clean sweep. Runners take this one 13-7
Match 4: Dirty Old Men vs Bourbon Bandits The two teams did not let the trip overseas divide them. They continued to not be separated by much as the Old Men won to open day 3 before the Bandits fought back to level the match once more. This one would come down to the final day and the Bandits showed the defending champs would not be an easy out taking the opening match and tying the second to put themselves on the brink of victory. With the match on the line, Tim and Trevor went to battle and Trevor came out victorious to secure the win for the Bandits. Captain Les would earn points in the final match for the Old Men but it was too little, too late. Bandits take this one 11-9
Team Scoreboard Liver Let Die 6 vs 14 Duffer Downing Doubles Foregasms 17 vs 3 Brews Brothers Hobgoblins 7 vs 13 Moonshine Runners Dirty Old Men 9 vs 11 Bourbon Bandits
