Week 1 - Americas Art Vandelay

Kind of whatever scoring. Most interesting thing happened after completing round 1.

Game crashed as I was completing R1 (got through the hole, thankfully saw the mini-scorecard). Has happened to me far more often lately, to my infuriation. Anyway, thankfully the worst didn't come to pass which would have been the infinite crash loop of watching my last putt repeat and then crash on me (which has also happened to me recently after never seeing it in almost 4 years of playing these games), I only lost a shot due to having to come back to the round and be inches off the hole. I have managed to get 2 identical scorecards from R1 to prove a deficit (should have been -11, not -10), as I take screenshots of any scorecard I see for situations like this.

Taking a dinner break and might complete the rest later tonight as I have wayyyyy too many rounds left to play.

I got off to a slow start, but then I finally found whatever passes for my groove on the back 9.
I'm enjoying the mix of courses, it's definitely keeping it interesting. I'm also enjoying not being beholding to TGCTours by piggybacking on any of their tours this season. 👏

1st round hole 17 had a birdie putt 4ft missed it went long so out of frustration i felt like i whacked putt only blemish of a decent round.

2nd round couldnt stop the chip ins 1st 4 holes as didnt have a putt till hole 5, chip in on 4 was for a save

went sour after that i detest 134 greens too slow for me

course,s was lovely makes a nice change from whatever cc has to offer

will play OFTR saturday as was so annoyed with round 4

Americas thingy doodah.

Pleased with the score despite multiple mistakes.  The 66.67% medium-range putting success rate is testament to that, as is the fact that I made not one solitary eagle where people were making loads.  That said, given I've been playing like a dog this last week, I'll take it.

As a footnote, this might be an unpopular opinion but I found the course to be pretty much the same kind of CC fare that we've been playing for so long *shrug*

Only 2 Rounds though Chris, and then another course.

Week 1 - ROW + OFTR Art Vandelay / Wutpa

Standard affair for ROW. Fairly pleased to remain steady, but don't think this will help out my Brothers.

As for OFTR, umm... what can I even say to that to make any sense of it? If anyone can post a more WTF card than this this season, well... damn. Love the color choice for the society!

First week is heading into the final 24 hours of the week and most looks favorable.  Please keep the feedback coming as TBC admin will listen to you and hope to make TBC a great place to be.

I am a bit concerned that we have heard little or nothing from a few members to this point.  I know we did away with the mid week deadline to loosen things up, but it would be great to see some scores from:

thetaffman, Bogey Bonocore and crushtastic.  Maybe their Captains Crazy Croc, Tombanator and jg24kl could help get some scores reported.

Keep the 134 speed greens coming I love them. As for bears post about one of the courses being much like the CC courses, I had a reply to his comment but I’m thinking better on posting it I don’t want to open up another can of worms you never know who’s watching 👀 our forum posts 😂
Edit: I thought it was quite a nice course, shock horror coming from me that’s a compliment 😂
