Hello, I go through the LIDAR process and have no issues until after export. When I go back into my game the course has not updated to what was created on the TGC tools. Everything looks fine there. I have no idea what the problem might be. I have followed the tutorial exactly. Have tried multiple times.
Would appreciate insight,
Matt

Okay, The course rendering looks fine in TGC Golf Tools. From my understanding of the tutorial this means I would have the right EPSG? I will try using different EPSGs to see if the course ends up in the game.
(edit)
Update: the TGC Tools pulls an epsg from the lidar files. I manually entered every single one found on spatial reference. The only one that generates the course image is the one found in the Lidar files.
I have tried this with two different courses and sets of Lidar data.
I know one of the courses is possible because someone has already done it.
Maybe my game is not reading new files put into the courses folder under appdata/2k/courses (or whatever the trail is)

Not sure if this would be a problem or not. My game is downloaded onto my D drive but course files and appdata are on my C drive
Update:
That did nothing

correct - the lidar tool works with 2019 - then you have to save it in 2019 and THEN move it to 2k21 courses folder

Yes, you need to create the blank course file on TGC19, export to TGC19, publish on TGC19 before you do any planting etc. Then import legacy course on 2k21 to begin work, that’ll be the issue I reckon

You do not need to publish on TGC2019, you just need to import the file from Chad's Tool, then open that course in the TGC2019 designer, then save and exit. After that you can move the course file from the TGC2019 Course folder to the 2K21 Course folder and it will work just fine in the 2K21 designer.

The other alternative is if you know someone who has 2019 you could send the output file from Chad's tool to them, have them open it in the 2019 designer and save it, then send it back to you - easy peasy!

do you definitely have it showing in 2019?
if yes, you can simply copy paste the .course file into the 2k21 /courses folder, and it should show in unpublished list in 2k21
if no, you need to concentrate efforts in 2019. get the course created, save and exit.
