So I shot an even par 1st round for the new tournament. Why do I feel I have little chance of making the cut after 2 rounds? This course is quite a bit harder than last week’s. I think the cut will be around +1. I’m sitting at -6 after 2 rounds which felt pretty good considering how bad my tempo was. Still I’m sure I won’t be anywhere near the top. Winning a tournament just seems impossible. I’ve gotten a top 20, which felt like a win to me!

Well if the cut is par I'm going to be furious. Just completed my second round at +1 (after a -3 first bogey free round, yay!), and that stupid Series X swing glitch reared it's head on hole 17 which caused me to completely mishit a putt. Would've gone in at par if not for that.
Still, my best two rounds this season.

My goodness. Halfway through my final round and I want to throw the pad out the window. This swing glitch is really frustrating. Lost at least 4-5 strokes due to it. All seem to happen when I'm just about to hit my forward swing when putting, and I end up hitting it a pathetic 3 inches.
I need all the help I can get with this game so to have a bug make my scores even worse is unbelievably irritating.

Another frustrating week of not making the cut. Both rounds started of with double bogeys. 1st round got two doubles and a few triples. 2nd round started terrible but I will say ended on a positive streak. Had 7 birdies to finish +2 for tourney after all was said and done. Looking forward to possibly making cut next week.

So I sit at -2 after 2 rounds. Looks like I might make the cut line. That’s the good news. Frustrating part is there is no way for me to realistically challenge for the top 15% promotion mark. Too far behind. So the question is, how long do I languish in CC-I before I give up? Anyone else feeling the same?

Sorry for jumping in a division I’m not in but I like to see how everyone is getting on at different levels. I was in the bottom L and was sat on two promotion marks for 5 weeks and thought the same and then last week shot a -20 through four rounds and just got promoted to K. I think it will happen and you have to stick at it and even though getting consistency will take time every now and then you will be on the nail and have a good four rounds. I think it’s just about remembering how you managed to shoot those good rounds and it sticking in the muscle memory and also lots of practice as when you take a break it’s like starting all over again at least for me that is. Anyway what do I know )) but just had to say how I feel and good luck 👍

(i played pretty well in rounds 3 and 4!)

i just saw the latest results - i would up with a t21 this week - by FAR my best effort, as i had never even been top 50 yet!
in addition, i shot a last-round 67, which was tied for the second best final round in the entire tournament!
i'm feeling good, as i get ready to play Beirut for a bit tonight...
good luck to all!

After a frustrating few weeks of several missed cuts and one frustration WD, I have finally hit my stride and seem to be playing consistently well enough to make cuts and compete for T20's. Finished all four rounds last night as I have a short week before I leave town but happy with how I played. -14 thru 4 rounds which may just be good enough for middle of the field at the end of the week.
So many great courses being released through the Dream Team contest and would love to see some of those added to the remaining 2021 schedule, and I'm sure they will.
My PS4 username is blackbox_trader. Friend request me if anyone wants to play a casual 18.

This CC-I is getting tough. I see the current cut line is -5. I'm at -7 after 2 rounds, hopefully that holds up. I didn't think it would be this hard to get a promotion mark in CC-I. Other than making the cuts, I don't know if I will ever be able to shoot well enough for the top 15% at the rate the scores in this flight are improving.

This was my first week here and I happened to shoot the best round of my entire career - 58! I think there was quite a bit of luck involved, especially with the putter.
I'm also playing in the promo event, but didn't shoot nearly as well there. I'm hoping to at least get promoted up a flight or two, so maybe this 58 won't matter much after all. ha.
Good luck out there!
