Finished up 2nd week of Q School, and happy with how the 2nd week went overall.
R1: -7 R2: -2 R3: -3 R4: -3 T: -15 Overall : -30
Never would have thought after all the practice rounds that I would have matched the -15 from Whiskey Dunes. Stayed out of the water, stayed away from the OB, nothing worse than a bogey. Made a 43 foot bomb on 18 in the last round. If I could putt like that all of the time, I'd be in really good shape
Hopefully -30 is good enough for Kinetic. I think it will be, but you never know. Good luck to everyone this week.

Just got done with my 4 rounds at Evangelist. Finished at +2 for this week and -7 overall. Just thankful I didn't have any nightmare scenarios with water/drops. Whatever CC I fall into should be a good time.

I really loved the look of the boardwalk around the edge. Aesthetically it looked awesome. Just sucked when you got caught in there. Also have had spots where the ball gets caught on the edge of the water and keeps dropping in the exact same spot when you declare an unplayable. Would be cool though if all designers were on the same page as to how to properly put drop zones in their courses You have no idea what you are talking about if you don't design. Kevin's point about drop zones is valid, and we could all do that if we wanted to (I know exactly how he does it), but you also have to mold those in aesthetically. The game doesn't HAVE drop zones, and the way that this game is allowing a drop right on the edge of the water is NOT a course designer issue of fault, that's THE GAME. I've read several of your comments at this point ABU_Bear and reserved response, but at some point your opinions just become too much to leave in the universe because you don't actually know what you're talking about. It wasn't meant to sound like I knew what I was talking about when it came to designing..because you're right.. I don't have a clue. I wish I did because I've got some great ideas for courses just not the talent to bring them to life. Just was commenting that if there IS a way to put in proper drop zones it would be great if everyone knew how to do it. That's all I meant by the comment. I apologize if you or anyone else took offence to my comment

Any reason why my Week 2 scores are not coming through. The 'my score' section on the main leaderboard isn't showing the 2nd leg scores yet - I already put a ticket in for that - but if you look at your position (which is correct) and go to that area, you should see your 5th round score. If you don't see the 5th round score and have played it (and played the previous 4) - then you should put in a ticket to support@tgctours.com FYI the main leaderboard is now fixed showing the rounds from the second leg of the event in the 'my scores' section..

I don't feel like so bad about my over par rounds here after hitting 13 on a par 3 IRL on Sunday. Three shanked into the water then general crap play to the hole. I felt like I'd never played before, and ended up with 63 for the 9. Then completely reversed it on the back hitting 5/9 greens (all pars) to be +4 heading into the last, which I stuffed with a bad tee shot. Crazy game 😂

Gotta love retaining walls Smh hate cheesers playing the fast.... If that’s a white fast it kicks right off the bank into the water. Can’t believe people can play a red fast to perfectly hit the boards and bounce forward, straight into the bunker.

Some musings as I prepare to play the 1st two rounds of Evangelist.
My practice rounds ranged from -1 to +10; hope I get a card. I liked St Bedes...need to check if it was ported over. I like Evangelist, but some of the drop issues and O.B. next to the #14 green .... meh.
Guess I got lucky on the boardwalk. Mine was playable.

Will all QS events be two weeks once the season starts or will it be one week as before? And also, once you have joined the Beer League, are you able to try your hand at earning a card or are you stuck in Beer League? The 2 week Qualifier is just to balance the tours following release of a new game - same was the case back in Season 5 when 2019 first came out. The weekly Q school will be the course played on the Challenge Circuit and will just be the 4 rounds - 1 week.. If you're in Beer League - you can opt back out of it and enter a Q school - can't be in both at the same time.. Thank you for the reply. Very helpful. One more questions - how do I opt out of the Beer League when I do decide to do so. I don't see the check box for the Beer League on my profile page. Was there when I entered the Beer League but it's not showing now. Thanks again for the help.

Gotta love retaining walls Smh hate cheesers playing the fast.... Hey I talked to the architect directly he said that using the retaining wall on 18 was the best play so I just did what he suggested, don't be mad

Just played probably my weirdest round in TGC tours history in round 1. Started bogey-quad bogey and then birdied 7 of the next 8 en route to a -3 finish.

Finished up round 4 today...was playing great and then a double bogey and a bogey killed what was going to be a very special round, but got it back together and went for -10 on a pretty tough set up... I was very happy with that...soooo -43 -43 Total= -86 Very happy with how my game is coming along Good luck all!!
