Drainage ditch on par 3, 8th? Sorry, just seems out of place with respect to the rest of the course and greens. Cool course, very difficult... watch #14, OB super close to green on right.... I bailed left. I am a chicken. +1 after the first round

To anyone struggling...don't give up...some VERY GOOD players are tanking @ Evangelist on PC after posting very low round 1 scores

Just looking at the Q2 leaderboard scores I was surprised at how low people (even those further down, like 300) are going in round five. I thought Evangelist was tougher than Whiskey, both by word-of-mouth and when I have played it. No wind. Soft. Slow. Perfect formula to tear apart a course. Wouldn’t be surprised if the stroke average is 4 better than the other rounds.

Some top players imploded after going VERY low in round 1 some top names in there

Course seems a lot easier than the last one but I don't want to jinx my next 2 rounds lol. I see some are posting messages in the game complaining about those using controllers. Here's a tip, use a controller then because I really don't see a huge advantage. Some still think long putts and vibration is going to make all the difference.

Course conditions from Rd1to Rd2 vary enough that if you don’t take it into account you will be found out.
Like Jules said more eloquently than me. Bring on the friggin’ popcorn......

What are the greens and fairways for round 1 because in the course details it says firm and firm , I'm sure it said moderate moderate in the settings before you start the round?

Round 4 especially....the course really shows it's teeth in the wind

First ever sub-60 round for me in this game and it comes in qualifying, probably means I’ll sneak into the platinum tour unless I blow up in rounds 2-4.
-27 after 4 put me in 127th, now -38 after 5.

Some top players imploded after going VERY low in round 1 some top names in there I wonder if it's 1 or 2 blowout holes causing the high scores rather than bogey after bogey? I seemed to get lucky with my green misses and left very comfortable chips or splashes. Ignoring the flag and playing to land on the front of the green to roll out to the middle usually only left a 20 foot birdie putt which didnt have any crazy amount of break. I think there was only 3 greens that you couldn't do that on, 1 was the hole with the bunker just in front of the green so played to the side, made par and onto the next.Need a US Open mentality, bogey is OK, just avoid anything worse.

I would assume it's 1 or 2 total implosion holes per round. Evangelist can really grab strokes back in a hurry. I was cruising nicely in round 4 @ 2 under and then had a hard right to left putt on the back 9. That putt was for birdie...I ended up off the green and down the side slope. Splash shot back on the green then 2 putted for double bogey. It happens that fast and it wasn't even on one of the tougher holes on the back 9. Two more bogeys followed and I limped in @ +2. I lost 4 strokes in 5 holes.
