Might be a ridiculous question Doyle but need to ask. Regarding registration beginning on the 19th if I was already playing 2019 registered on the site and a member of TGC special events do I need to do anything else to officially register for q-school or will I be auto registered?? Outside of the TST Tour, all tour cards are being taken away, therefore if you wish to play in the main tours, then you will have to register for a Q-School event. This two week one is the firat one to stock the tours for season 7. Understood I guess my question is will there be or is there already and obvious place to register or do we wait for more info to come tomorrow regarding registration???

I believe they are in the special events society My first post here I think - but I was wondering the same thing because I've read Special Events in a few places and now I see on the registration page that it says: If you joined the Qualifying Pool - search and join the TGCTours (Challenge Circuit) society

The initial mass Q school will be held on the Special Event Tour, after that this is the info for weekly qualifying events: Weekly Qualifying Events Once the season starts (October 4th) the TGCTours (Challenge Circuit) society will host weekly Qualifying Events where limited tour cards will be available.
Qualifying Pool This refers to the group of people without a tour card who are entering Qualifying Events trying to earn a tour card to one of our main tours. There is no limit to the amount of Qualifying Events you can participate in during the season.

Question: If you sign up for the main tour and do your q school but then decide later to drop down to Beer League are you able to do that? Or do you have to stick with whatever you sign up for?
Also, do we have to sign up for a tour (Beer League or Main Tour) before playing the Q school event? Or can we do the event and then decide based on how we did?

There is a registration option over on the main site, but its not open until tomorrow. I'd imagine there would be a clickable link right in the middle of the tgct main page tomorrow and also links posted here on the forum.

Great stuff! Couple questions: If you have a demo mark and place top 15%, will it still only remove just 1 mark? Basically do you get the credit for making cut AND placing in the top 15%? If you have a demo mark, you'll clear one for making the cut as well as gain a promo mark for finishing in the top 15%Are winners on CC auto-promoted up one tier? Winners are still auto-promoted up - fast track still in play as wellLastly, will card holders be monitored for inactivity? Will play this one by ear - I'll be more concerned with active fields each week - we'll be doing a balancing act backfilling as people leave and others qualify. Promo events will be used to reset the tours in case any get bloated. Don't plan on removing tour cards for inactive members - I do intend on replacing them with active golfers though.Looking forward to the start!!

Forgot to add my question. How will fast track work for moving up CC if everyone is playing Master difficulty?

Forgot to add my question. How will fast track work for moving up CC if everyone is playing Master difficulty? If fast track is incorporated, it will use a formula based on standard deviation. If there are players above that mark, they would get fast tracked up a tier. The idea is to move the guys shooting really well up to where that are more inline with the rest of the field. Competitive balance..

I will NEVER be able to qualify for a tournament in CC this season unless at least the putting meter is turned back on. Thing of people that do things visually a bit please. Remind me never to book you as a motivational speaker.
