I’ve been debating whether to join the Beer tour or do the Q school for one of the tours on master setting but so far only been playing in societies on Pro and still struggling. I do like the idea of being able to improve and maybe move up levels but I just tried my first round on masters and finished +18 and what do you guys think? Is that too bad to even contemplate trying on the main tours on master setting? Interested to hear what you think? It’s more tempo and hitting straight that is causing me problems more than chipping and putting. I thought about doing Q school but tried The challenge exhibition comp and was hacking it all over the course. It’s not just not fun for me. I’m still on pro-am and quite happy on that. I know what you mean and if I’m hacking it here there and everywhere then it does take any enjoyment from the game.

I know signup's are set for tomorrow, but I am curious what I need to do as a Switch player (don't hate ). When I go to my account profile, there is not a section to enter your Switch name. I appreciate the help.

They have stated since that it cannot be. There are no gamertags on Switch. They only get a first name, which cannot work for identifying exactly whose scores are who.

Where have this weeks events leaderboards gone nothing showing. From the shoutbox: Doyley: : test events are done - importing full schedule caused issues so we're now focusing on switching site for upcoming season.

Question... since there is no cut for q-school, are we able to play all four rounds later in the week, Doyley or do we still have to have the first two rounds by Wednesday or whenever it is normally?
Alternatively, when is the first day we can officially play q-school on Sunday?

I asked your first question a few days ago and there is no requirement as to when to get two rounds in. Just finish all four by the end of each week. I believe the events are (here in North America) going to be Saturday evenings to Saturday evenings. Whether that is true for the mass Q-school or not I'll let Admin answer.

We moved the desk I used to play at home to the office and I am finding that i play MUCH better with it, so I may try to play my rounds at work.

Obviously you have two options. 1. Go ahead a do the qualifying matches and see what happens. Then if need to, drop down into the Beer league. This is the option that I will pursue. 2. Go ahead and opt out of the upper tours and qualifiers and play the Beer League as this will allow you to compete and at the same time work on your skills with the goal of eventually entering into a qualifier with the hopes of gaining a tour card. Thanks and very good points and nothing to lose by playing the Q school and this would give me an idea of what route to take, cheers! I will try Q-school to start, but have no illusions that I will be able to break +100 over the 8 rounds. The game is just not clicking for me. If my alignment is good, I am either too fast or too slow. If I am perfect on the tempo, my alignment is bad. LOL Rare for me to put both together on the same shot. Typical hole is 1. hitting into the rough 2. hitting towards the green 3. chipping on the green 4. trying to one putt to save par, but more likely a 2 (or more) putt for bogey+

Goal is to shoot +40 for four rounds at Whiskey Dunes. The Evangelist is a different story...tough course imho...so goal would be under 60 for 4 rounds. If I shoot worse than +40 at W. Dunes...well Beer league her I come!

Might be a ridiculous question Doyle but need to ask. Regarding registration beginning on the 19th if I was already playing 2019 registered on the site and a member of TGC special events do I need to do anything else to officially register for q-school or will I be auto registered??

Outside of the TST Tour, all tour cards are being taken away, therefore if you wish to play in the main tours, then you will have to register for a Q-School event. This two week one is the firat one to stock the tours for season 7.
