I just finished a practice round on theCLV's delightful Pinehurst #2. It looks really true-to-life, I have never seen or played it IRL. After one round on the 2K21 version though I don't think I will try to play the real thing. Tiny, turtle-back greens, even at 163 speed are no fun. I think I had 85% FIR and about 20% GIR! Thank God it was not a real tournament. I was actually even par at the turn, but then could not find a green on the back to finish with a fine +6 .

I think I ended up +5. Kept missing easy putts that if I'd made probably would have had me even, or a shot or two either side. I haven't played it IRL either, only other video game I've played it on was WGT.

What a difference a few weeks make! Two weeks ago I played a round and finished with an 80 or so. Last week just wasn't going well at all and I quit on the front 9. This weekend I finally shot my first under par round at Cloudcrest on the other (not as good) KF Tour, and now I've just shot my second! Birdied the first, dropped a shot to reach the turn at Even, and then dropped another at 10. But two birds in a row at 13 and 14 plus a string of pars, finished with a -1 69. Really happy with that! Feel like I've got a handle on the putting, my lag putting especially was great. The rest of it is tough, but I like it! It's great fun to play a round on a brilliant RCR like this one and feel like it's proper golf. Loved it

Went +5 then +2. Ahhh - Pinehurst. You hit a bunch of fairways and roll off every green.

I don’t concentrate this much at work! One slow swing away from at 8 at all times!

- 9 total here with rounds of -3/-1/-2/-3
62.5% FIR and 55.6% GIR for the event. Really enjoyed the challenge and the course.

+5, -3, E, -2 for a total of even par after 4 rounds. Actually hit 73% of fairways. Hit 51% of greens. 13 birdies. 13 bogeys. No doubles or worse! Had myself down to -2 at one point during the final round, then ballooned up to +1 before getting back down to level par.

I don’t concentrate this much at work! One slow swing away from at 8 at all times! Roger that buddy. I replayed a YouTube vid I saved and I didn’t realize I was taking like 10 back and forths on putts to get the vibrate lined up with a point on the avatar. No wonder my wife keeps checking to see if I died in my man cave. When she says how was the tournament, I say that was only one round.

That one gave me a headache. The amount of almost perfect shots I hit over the course of 4 rounds, only to feed back off the green. Not my event.
-5/-4/-6/-4
3 lip-out birds and a straight pull in the final round from 8’. Quality when I was on the green, too 😂

Played the 1st round shot -1, it blows my mind how the leader is 40 odd under, insane scoring that on a difficult course

Fought tooth and nail to finish at -1... truly amazing how anyone could shoot better than -5 per round!
Side note: I was bitten by the 1” putt glitch after haphazardly quitting too soon after my 2nd round... crazy how that can carry though 3 games now, could’ve been -2 for crying out loud lol
