I'm new here and didn't play the tgc games before. But I prefer the exib 3 event with the power bar visible.

If you're looking at it as being a replacement for BCT, then no. If you're looking at it as a replacement for CC players who used pro clubs, then yes. Fine with no power meters since we've never had them before so why bother starting now?
You could also give Pro difficulty with tempo off a try as I've noticed a lot of tempo hate around here, if you're looking for suggestions.

Starting to lean towards it being used as a stepping stone to our main tours. Which is why most of the settings were similar outside of wind being open and it being Pro Swing. I think it would work better with the theme of the site rather than a tour that's totally different (power meters on, no tempo etc) than our bread and butter main tours. Those that are struggling on Master could work on their game in the Pro difficulty - and stay as long as they'd like or get to a point where the jump to masters/qualifying isn't so steep.

Saxondale is a beautiful course but tough as nails!
If I manage a round under par I'll be happy!
I think this is the way to go. Pro-am is a tad too easy.

Hey guys, 2K21 is my first golf game since Tiger Woods and I just recently discovered TGCTours. After first getting into the game on ProAm settings (all aids on) then seeing the settings for the Pro Am Tour, I started trying to learn with the aids off and feel like I'm getting the hang of it. After struggling through a few rounds and some time in the practice area I had an even round at Saxondale (never mind the +15 and +10 before that)
Really enjoying this game and looking forward to Q-school!

Just a few thoughts as you asked for feedback.
Found the test event at Pro a pretty tough course and stumbled to E. I like the settings, I feel Pro level is the way to go as a proving ground for the main tours with swing timing on, power bar and distance control off (to mirror the main tours) but other aids (except Pro vision) left on open. Perhaps even set the power bar to putting only as that seems to be a tricky point for even some of the better players!!
The alternative is to leave it at Pro-Am which is pretty much point and shoot leaving those that wish to play Pro level, which is a decent challenge for many, with nowhere to go on TGCT. I personally wouldn't play Pro-Am. Waste of time. As Pro is the level used in Matchmaking surely there should be a place for it on TGCT? I appreciate all the hours you guys put in and hope a place can be found for those of us that wish to balance competition with enjoyment.

Oh yeah I remember this course from last year. Aim way left into the rough and take the bounce to the fairway..on every hole lol..or drink 12 beers and aim normal.
I kind of think this is the setting to go for. Didn't find it too hard or frustrating or too easy. Finished all four rounds at -2 and sitting 7'th on the PC leader boards behind all the PGA players.

Still think you need a Pro-Am Tour then a couple of Pro Level Tours followed by the Masters/Legend.

I just finished four rounds at Saxon and thought it was a good test not as grueling as master setting .I’ve never played pro-am setting just pro and master . I hope you decide to have one tour on pro setting .

This was the best setup for the ProAm Tour. Keeping Distance Control Meter off is best since the other tours do not use it. Then we can work our way onto those tours without learning a new skill of putting. This brand had never had a meter before so this is not traditional. Learn how to putt using the vibration indicator now so that we are better prepared for the big leagues!

Those that are struggling on Master could work on their game in the Pro difficulty - and stay as long as they'd like or get to a point where the jump to masters/qualifying isn't so steep. I think it should be a forced promotion. Pro is easier but not so different that the winners or top 5 in the Pro event will not be able to compete in the lowest Challenge flight. If you can win in Pro against a few hundred others, I think they could at least place top 50% in the bottom CC flights. Allowing people to stay as long as they like would only incentivize playing down on pro and winning all the time. I'm sure it's more of a pain in the backend of the site, but would be pretty cool to see the winner or top 3 or top 5 promoted into CC-G. This way it would keep them off the Pro level for a few weeks at least. They will either succeed and move up more in the CC flights or intentionally have to sandbag for X number of weeks until they are demoted out and back into Pro difficulty. It's hard to say without the full data and everyone's scores showing to see how it will go, but I think it's safe to say anyone who wins on Pro difficulty can definitely compete on Master in the CC flights.

Why is this weeks Pro-Am Exhibition on Pro-Am Difficulty and aids on? Bug in the game that doesn't allow difficulty changes at society level stick - reverts back to original settings when the society was created. Didn't realize that was a bug till now.

Maybe use the promo logic a bit - something like the pro tours, wheras if you win twice you're promoted to CC-G.. But then you have the problem of those that don't want to promote into the higher settings. Maybe you could dust off the sponsor exemption - give the pro-am top 5 a SE to play a week on CC-G with the higher settings. They make the cut and earn the G card, miss cut and back down to pro-am. Honestly I liked that system in S4 as it makes the user earn the spot, rather than fast tracking only to demote down again after 4 MC. Again, just a thought..good with whatever is ultimately decided..
