Ok, that's what I thought. Thanks again. So we can’t switch say a driver out between rounds if the course is playing long the first round.

Les, I think that might be the case. That's why I asked the question. Not 100 percent sure yet.

Doyley catcherman22I play with all putting aids off. The bar drives me crazy. Is there any way you could set the CC tournaments on the putting aids to open so that they be turned off?

From what I gather is they are trying all sorts of settings. Locking them in probably allows them to analyze the data in the API with better results since everyone is on the same setting.
Also there is a very real possibility I don't know what I'm talking about...lol

TimBThanks Tim....I was asking for a harder setting than the ones we are playing in the CC. I don't know if that makes a difference.

That course for Exhibition #3 is quite a tester! Not a lot of fairway, but at least there is a fairly generous swath of Lt. rough on most holes. I have played all four rounds, +8,+7,-4,+5. The last two rounds were where I just decided to concentrate on playing for a fast 96-98% swing, aiming right on most shots (that's OK, but it is really a pain when you get a Perfect when you played for a Fast ) The -4 round was my first 18 holes under par (-5 on front, +1 on back) so that was kind of magical. Short story long, this game has turned out to be a lot of work, but what else do I have to do, right? I feel like I might at least settle into the lower CC ranks after Q-school. Good Shooting to all.

Somehow I found myself -9 after two rounds, pretty much entirely thanks to some really good (and/or lucky) putting. Unfortunately I fell back to -4 over the last two rounds, but as of right now it's still good enough for a top 10 (on XB1) which I'm quite happy with. I have to say I really like seeing these realistic scores at the top of the leaderboards.

Les, I think that might be the case. That's why I asked the question. Not 100 percent sure yet. I'm pretty sure you can change clubs between rounds. In fact, there's even a "golf bag" option on the last screen before starting a round (right under your golfer doing the fancy pose). I think what happened to you is that right after the first round you must have selected "advance", which, unlike career mode, takes you directly to the first tee for the next round. From that point on, the game considers the round to be in progress, so even if you quit and resume it won't let you change the bag composition. So if you plan to do it in the future, when you finish a round, make sure you don't select "advance" in the post-round screen and instead press the "back" button to go back to the society main screen.

I looked at the leaderboard last night after I had finished the event in double figures over par and 79 people had completed the tournament of those 79 only 10 finished under par. Not a very exciting tournament if you ask me.
