I see what you’re saying but the point is your swing plane is always dead straight. I could make an argument against that, couldn’t I? If that varies, as many of ours do, so does the landing area. And the distance for fast swings is different too. You’re not completely off base here, you’re just trying to either shoot every hole you can in the game or you’re trying to create your own game. Again, nothing wrong with that but why not use what the game offers? Seems to me the most reliable outcome is perfect tempo and a straight line. So let’s get rid of that! Oh wait you seem to be able to do at least one of those so it’s ok. 😉 I don't know what you mean by my swing plane is always dead straight. It's most certainly not. You are missing the point here....my tempo is the exact same each time w/o any variance. If it's fast, then it's one tempo, slow and it's another. And same for the perfects. I don't want that. That's not good. I mean, it might seem like it would be a good thing to hit all those perfects like that, but it's not. It's broken that the game is determining them like it is. There is no way my swing is that exact each time and that seems like a problem. I dunno, maybe I should just shut up and enjoy being able to achieve perfect swings all the time. It's coming as I practice more and more. I'm sure nobody will cry foul when I (and other mouse users) are doing that in the real tours, right? I thought the video was pretty impressive. You were fast in same spot on all of them, easy to adjust for. I'm fast up and down the spectrum

They responded with how to check my network connection. All my shots are 1 of 3 tempos, and I have the API numbers to support that. But trying to get anyone either at HB or 2K to see that is more and more a lost cause. I doubt I'll be able to play on the tours here because of that.

Sadly I think the tours and HB will look at other mouse people and see if they are having the same issue. I started off having similar but now I'm not. If you are the only one or one of a few, they'll chalk it up to 'get a different' mouse.

There's no reason it's any different from any other pointing device anyways. It's just a trackball is all.

I had to switch mice back in TGC 2. It happens.

It's the whole issue with it having only the three swing tempos. I'm not even going to bother with the upcoming quals. I know I could probably score very well, but it would be fake. I'll wait and see what 2K's support has to say.

What's the cut line to get a tour card?

What's the cut line to get a tour card? You can't shoot more than +100 (for the 8 rounds), but right now it looks like it will be lower than that. It is determined by how well folks play with 150 going into P, E, and K (each) with the CC getting 1000 (evenly distributed across CC-A through G). As of now (Only R1 showing), it looks like +12 may be the cut for CC-G, but that is bound to change. This site is a summary, but hasn't been updated in a few hours. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cHkclPkND6GPamK3W6ptrJdn7oa6gnotacO-_DaNjn0/edit#gid=0Here is the actual results, but you have to look at the numbers yourself (if are just looking to get a card, look for the score that gets you lower than 1,450th). 1,456th is +12 right now. www.tgctours.com/tournament/QSchoolLeaderBoard/5370

You guys really don't get it. I didn't enjoy playing master clubs last game. I couldn't do it. It wasn't fun. The game isn't fun for me that way. But that was OK - I still had a home here at TGCT. I could still play pro clubs, struggle in CC, never win a tournament. I've been here 5 years. I've played every TGC game. I've designed courses, and been fortunate and honored enough for one of them to host a tournament. I'm proud of that, for whatever it's worth. In 2k21, I again hate the game at master difficulty. It's too hard for someone of my skill level. It's not fun. Pro difficulty is a fair challenge for me - and I'm not shooting what I did in tgc19, I'm not insane - there's adjustment. There's work. But it's fun, that challenge is fun for me. Master difficulty? It's right out. I was never good enough for that level before, and there's zero reason to believe I will be now. Pro is the right difficulty for me. But that won't get me into CC anymore. There's no home (potentially) for me anymore at TGCT. And that sucks. That's hard to deal with. It's not about practicing, or getting gud, or whatever you call it. Master difficulty is not fun for me. That used to be OK around here. Suddenly, it's not, and there's a huge amount of skill elitism coming down on people like me, telling us to get good, stop whining or shut up - or leave. Apparently, that's our only choice now. That's what we're facing. Either play an unenjoyable difficulty for us or go away. Just wanted to congratulate you Kevin on persevering after seeing in another thread you might be on Elite after Q school, great job.

Just wanted to congratulate you Kevin on persevering after seeing in another thread you might be on Elite after Q school, great job. Well played mate! Do you enjoy playing with masters now or is it still not fun? I definitely don't, but I've sucked it up and play for fast like half the rest of the world. It feels cheap and cheesy. And going from CCC to Elite shows how powerful and easy it is to do. Playing on pro swing is WAY more fun because I can aim for perfect. I just can't get perfects with any reliability. I know some really good players can - that's to be expected, I'm not a really good player! In my defense I play for grey fast, not red fast. But it takes the majority of the slow miss out of the equation. Here's how I have to play video game golf now: 1) play for grey fast 2) move the marker back to avoid overswing on danger holes 3) use vibration on putting as a mental check against blowing things way past the hole. If those, or at least 1 and 3, eventually get patched out (as TGCT wants), I'll have to relearn the whole thing. But here we are. I'm not gonna lie, its amusing to see people realizing how goofy the game is to play on master swing for effective, consistent results. Like I said from the beginning - this shouldn't be the way to play the game. I feel a little vindication.

Scott Doyley I do not recall the answer to this question, do not see it answered on the OP and frankly don't have the energy to go through the 84 pages of the thread. Cuts. I noticed TST was top 65 and ties where Beer League was 173 making the cut. What will it be for the tours?
