As someone who runs a society I’ve been getting lots of questions I can’t answer and haven’t heard anything about from HB. So for instance, it appears we’re going from 3 levels of clubs to 6. Will we be able to create settings that allow a particular range of clubs to be used in a society or will there have to be a separate society for each club level? TGC2019 societies had lots of needs including programming fixes. It would be huge help if HB released all society info before the start of the actual release. Will TGC2019 societies still be playable for those who don’t move to the new game right away? I think I heard you can lock swing difficulty for tournaments or set up tournaments that allow all difficulty levels. I would assume you can also tick boxes for which of the 6 swing difficulty levels can play in individual tournaments. Remember it's not clubs like in TGC2019 it is now proper swing difficulty levels. Swing difficulty is how hard swing plane and tempo is and there is now distance trade off this time, all difficulties hit the same distance.

Thanks mate, I did notice that you really embraced the no power meter, respect 💪 Ran across a post by Respawn on the HB forum saying you can lock the power bar off in societies but not rumble. So I guess you would have to go into your controller settings and disable vibration, maybe? The downside to doing such would be would losingthe rumble for pressure situations (like important putts), should the game have that functionality. Bit worried that it can't be locked off in societies as it is an aid if it buzzes to tell you the distance of backswing. Should be for practice only, also mouse users won't be getting the same aid.

Something I asked in our society. Thanks for any info in advance..xbox.
"Was on youtube last night and watched lots of vids posted. They were slightly infotmative reg new shot control but skimmed it unless I was watching wrong streams.
Does anyone have a link or info regards it as scratching me bonce about the two loft controls.
I get that left stick is loft or de loft and that right one is taking over from punch shot so you can play down on ball or vice versa but how do you feel they will be used in conjunction."

I think it gives us great shot making options. I really think what with the various options and tweaks available, both before starting a round and during it re shot making, this great has the potential to be really superb. There are bound to be bugs etc but given time and the usual updates the sky is the limit for it.

bubbsboy100. They're used for precision distance control. In TGC 2019, if you had a 7y chip, you'd be required to either hit a partial or use a slow backswing. In 2K21, you could dial in that same 7y distance by maxing out loft and angle. Of course, we don't know exactly how much the exact yardage will be effected but you get the idea. Also, maxing out the shot shaping attribute for your wedges will give you even MORE flexibility to dial in shots. For the longer shots, think about a club which carries 172y and rolls out to 180. What happens with a tight pin over a bunker with only 3-4y of green? Simply club up and use max loft with max angle to get a similar overall distance with half the roll out. Again, choosing the shot shaping attribute will allow one to really attack pin positions which were difficult in 2019. The only caveat would be a new learning curve to properly adjust for the wind with the increase in spin, but it wouldn't be difficult.

I’m excited for the new game. Pre-order went in yesterday. I’m wondering how we transition from current version to 2K21? Will we all stop playing current tour rounds and have a few weeks with new game? Are we looking at another Q School with the new game playing much differently to previous versions? I’m sure admin will be on top of this but thought I’d ask nonetheless.

Short answer, yes we will all go through Q-school again after a few weeks of "fun" rounds as they get the details worked out for the various TGCTours Societies.

Apologies, I had read thru several pages but obviously hadn’t read them well enough. Lets hope this will be the best golf game for many a year. 🤞🏻

Any consideration of flighting Tours in the new game via average score? Specifically speaking, I have played in CC-B, C, and D. Each tour has players who routinely shoot in the -40s every round.
It just seems to me that if you shoot a -30 routinely you should be in a league with others who do.

To answer your question about TGC2019 Societies....yes they will still be available if you insert the TGC2019 disk into your game system PS$ and Xbox. Sadly the Societies are currently only partially functional due to the Statistics not being available. Will this ever be fixed?? Since they have not responded for weeks it's probably safe to assume it will be remain broken. Excellent questions about club levels for Societies. Since you could not control it before in the in the settings menu it's safe to assume nothing has changed. Does anyone know?

I could be wrong but his point seemed to be more along the lines of, ‘why are those players not placed at a more appropriate skill level?’ From just looking at the rules for promotion in CC vs Tours, and monitoring the events the last few months, it does appear to me that it’s tougher to get promoted from CC-B and CC-A than it is from Web, and maybe even Euro. There appear to be loads of good players in the upper CC tours that have a tough time breaking through to Web. I feel that they’d do very well once they get there, too.

Just an FYI - I made a nice shot on the 18th - chipped in for birdie. I got a replay and a chance to save it so that's new/good (assuming you keep replays on). In previous versions when you hole out on the last hole you never got a chance to view/save the shot.

Haven't heard anyone mention this re the commentary. I'm playing a 4 round event - and they just mentioned I par'd this hole yesterday which was cool (during career mode).
