Chris223 - Thanks you! Supper glad you enjoyed it. I had some momentum coming out of Toby's Rock and used it to pump out this course. I am going to slow down a little and prepare to hit PGA 2K21 at full steam when it drops. I hope to port all four of my current designs fairly quickly(if possible), and then start work on some ideas I have rolling around for future projects. Thanks again for the support man! jordanhere2 - Awesome! Glad to hear you enjoyed Toby's Rock, and can't wait to hear what you think of Lake Lyla. I appreciate the support, and hope that this course is not a disappointment. hallzballz6908 - Thanks for the kind words and suggestions for improvements. I agree that there were some bunkers that left something to be desired. I was trying a newer technique I learned from Ben's(b101) bunker tutorial, and I haven't really mastered it yet. I hope to improve on that in future releases for sure. Hopefully, (fingers crossed) PGA 2K21 delivers slightly better texture/elevation transitions. The bunkers do seem to have better lips from the trailers... but it's hard to tell. Thanks again for the support and taking the time to offer some specific constructive criticism. Just to let you guys know, Avakrac has also released a play through of Lake Lyla! That's two TGC local legends that have honored my course with videos. I appreciate both Avakrac and Jimgem for the awesome service they provide to the community for players and designers alike!

Enjoyed my round at Lake Lyla, very realistic golf course and very well executed. You've got all the skills Michael and i look forward to seeing another design from you in the next 30 days Quite a mixed bag of scores from me, turn the wind up for a bit more of a challenge, the greens are fair but not easy. The course is very natural with Michaels now trademark Rocks and flower retainers thrown in liberally. Great tee shot visuals particularly the lake holes and the 18th. Really strong final 3 holes. Would be a perfect suit to play matchplay or a skins game

Fair enjoyed Toby's Rock so when I had a chance of a Father's Day round of (pixel) golf with my lad (not seen him since lockdown so TGC19 is one way of keeping up to date) I decided on Lake Lyla.
And I was certainly not disappointed. I really don't know how you knock out such quality courses time and time again in such a short space of time. It's a beauty and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable round of pixel golf. 5 stars (again!).

Got aroundn to playing this yesterday and really enjoyed the course. This is very well done! Very nice sculpting, planting, and routing. Enjoyed the risk reward options around the course. Keep the course coming and thank you for a very nice course here.

This thread is such a great example of what being a totally positive member of the community will do for you. Love seeing everyone out to play your course after you've commented so nicely on just about every course in the CC contest and beyond. Keep it up, Michael - stoked for you

jimgem - Awesome! A Jimgem playthrough on my course! Great video sir. I'm happy with the observations you made of my course, and was impressed by your score as well. Thank you and well done! meyo - Thank you for the kind words! The thing with this course that ended up different than my normal courses is that pin 1 is tough on the slopes, but easier on the position for the approach. While pin 4 is easier on the slope, but more difficult to attack the pin on the approach. As for the 3 & 12, I could make that kind of change pretty easy if there was a demand for it, but I doubt it will be on tour... let alone given a Tour Worthy status. Thank you for the support though! I appreciate the play and comments. Good job on your score as well! Oh it's definitely Tour worth bud....
