*sigh* can't believe I'm posting this because I just don't think it's worth it but here it goes...
There is a (stoopid) way for us console designers to get course pictures where you want them and without any HUD items or lines or anything involved like the wonderful PC guys get.
1: Clear all the red waypoint lines and yellow measurement lines that would show up in the picture 2: Select some small object that won't be visible in the picture (like grass or something). Make it really small if you're concerned about it showing up in the picture. Just don't put it underground otherwise it will get highlighted yellow 3: Move your view around until you get it to the spot where you want to take the picture
Now here's the fun part... (I'm not sure what the quick screenshot function is on PS4 but on Xbox it's the center Xbox button followed by Y)
4: Press START then immediately (very quickly) hit the center Xbox button followed by Y to take a screenshot.
Doing this, you catch the designer in between removing the designer HUD items and bringing up the "pause" menu and you have about a half a second to get your good screenshot without any HUD or lines in the way...
...Then you just need to put all your waypoints back in lol... You might be able to fix a couple using the undo button but haven't tried that yet.

Another tip... For Xbox at least.
1) Start a round 2) Zoom around in camera mode and find your shot 3) Hit pause, then the Xbox button and then Y... Do this with a slow pause after hitting the pause button
It works because during the pause operation all the HUD is removed for a second before the course image disappears to the menu.

Yep that should work as well, you can just get angles easier in the designer and zoom out further but if you have a specific place you know you can get to in a round, then you wouldn't have to delete the waypoints. Maybe this won't be needed in the new game

Ps4 is the option button, then a quick press of the share button. It'll seem like you didn't do it right because the "image captured" shows up a little late. But it'll work.

What I did for Xbox was take pictures in playtest mode, as Skinnie said, but not going through the effort to trick the HUD into disappearing. Then I used the Xbox app to save them to my phone and I just cropped the HUD out in Photos. Of course, this means an extra step and you'd need to take pictures from farther away than you'd like, but the method requires 0 button-press-timing ability.

You can also selectively or spam click photo the flyover on a hole... Usually get a couple solid ones.

Or you could just go into publish course and take your screenshots in that then crop your pics using Photoshop Express to get rid of the yellow frame.
I do this on Xbox then I'll send my pics to OneDrive and use Photoshop Express on my phone.

I uploaded the screenshots to Twitter and then saved them from there. Cropped them down a bit and good to go.
