The Preserve and Quarry cc is completed for the CC competition.
The course is a split 18 as indicated by the name. Front 9 tracks through an abandoned quarry, since acquired by the club. Fairways are quite wide, however you'll still need to put a premium on driving accuracy so set up the best angle to the different pins. The back 9 winds through a wetland preserve. Again, mostly wide fairways that still require accuracy. This side is much more green and water rich. Greens are designed to make you think. If you simply attack every pin, you are probably going to think "this designer is an idiot bc I can't get close to the pin and I'm the best videogame golfer in the world!" However, if you assess the green and use the slopes to your advantage, you will end up inches from the pin, in some cases.
Is everything perfect? Probably not, but I designed/routed it as I assumed one would through a real rock quarry and preserve. If you play straightline robot golf, you'll shoot even or over. If you treat it as a thinkers course, probably -13 or better. Sorry I don't have a promo video or snippets of every hole. I'd rather you play it and form your own opinions than only the ones I want you to see.
Note to judges - the 3 tees are set to the distances of the club difficulties. I.e., if you play pros, playing from the mid tees will likely promote your best experience. However, hopefully, if I've done my job, there are indeed obstacles from every tee no matter the club difficulty selection.

Really awesome course. There is so much to look at during the round, and the rockwork is on point. The quarry was a very unique setting for the holes that play through it. My favorite holes were 10 & 11, but 11 was the best to me personally because of the rockwork and retaining wall flowerbeds(Oh Yeah!!!). Anytime people combine those two features and/or waterfalls on a hole... I'm sold. Overall well done!

Hard to do on a game that we've been beating up for a while now. Feels like nearly everything has been done by someone lol

Beautiful course! The work around the quarry was awesome. Those trees you custom made were cool. Gave a real coastal tree vibe. I really enjoyed my round and I recorded it, but I don't do any commentary. It still might be worth a watch to see someone go through the course. Good luck in the competition!
