Eric, really excited about your publish but really am too weak to boot up the pc tonight. Had a small heat stroke on the course tonight. I’m going to be at my fathers for a couple days now. Which means I won’t be near my computer after tonight. Eric I apologize that I won’t be streaming your design tonight but will definitely get to it as soon as I can. Thanks to everyone participating as well. Such an awesome group!

Ok gang here is my submission for TGCTDL Challenge #1. Now open for play is Duncansby Head Links, a stunning links-style golf course set in the rugged highlands of northern Scotland. Hole 1 is a 461 yard par four featuring a classic bottle template tee shot followed by a down-hill approach to a large, undulating green surrounded on three sides by bunkers and flanked by water left and long. Hole #2 is a 618 yard par 5 using the channel template from the famous channel hole at Lido G.C. An agressive line should allow the player to attempt to get home in two but beware! trouble lurks all around on this dynamic 3-shotter! Hole #3 features a creative recreation of a Leven template. Players are presented with either a relatively easy iron to the safe fairway short of the ocean or a daunting carry over Duncan Burn to reach the fairway on the other side. Choose wisely! Hole #4 features another Leven-style tee shot except to the opposite side. The relative safety of the right fairway will offer players a semi-blind second shot while players who successfully navigate the carry over the bunker will earn a better view and angle into the treacherous multi-tiered green. Hole #5 is a favorite among the locals for it’s nearly endless options in which to attack it. Pay careful attention to the course conditions when making your decision on how to attack this great “short four”! Hole #6 is a 165 yard par 3 featuring a Maiden-style green. The green is large but the tiers are not. Precise distance control is the key to scoring on this hole. I hope you guys have as much fun playing this course as I did creating it! Please adjust the following settings before teeing off: wind: east light greens: firm fairways: firm Enjoy! And as always, any and all feedback greatly appreciated!

Wish I could play it but I’m away from my computer. I also saw a doctor and I indeed had a small heat stroke. So I’m going to lay low for another day. But tpetro or mattf27 please if you’re able to take a look at this that would be great as well as everyone else in the contest! Seriously the entries have been really great and I’m so glad we have a great contest on our hands! Will be hard to judge!

I’ve hung up the designer until 2K21. Once that’s out, I may jump into some monthly contests
