Almost an exact repeat of last week's performance for me. Complete sh$tshow.
Course was longer and had medium winds. 144 (ugh), 175, 144 (come on), 175 green speeds. The par 3s gave me fits with distances. Never felt comfortable on most of them.
I have zero ability to putt any more and that is just killing my rounds. If I tied my putter to the tail of a horse and let it wander around the green, I'd probably get some better results.
Managed a few decent par saves. My one bogey was the stupid "thought I was chipping but game selected flop shot" and I didn't notice. Just lazy on my part.
I'm definitely ready for whatever a new game brings. Feels like a long wait at this point.
Prediction of -56 to win. King Tim is on a roll so I expect him to nail the 3-pete and continue his domination of the BCT. Maybe smurph plays and gives him a run?

-10 first round. Don't have much else to add beyond that.

Got my opening round in. Had a bit of a slow start with birdie/par combinations most of the front 9 but finished pretty well and shot -13. Thanks to smurfblade88 and boffo for the ghosts. Can't play Round 2 as I don't have anybody else out there playing right now. Can't see -60 being hit this week and think -55 may be pushing it for the win. We will see.

Hmm. You used my ghost and only posted a -13 instead of -21 or something like that. I doubt it's a coincidence. I keep forgetting this game has ghost balls so I never use them.

Lots of breaks around the holes this week so better get those approach shots close. Going to be some good golf. I say they help, at least me. When there is holes that look maybe driveable over water or certain landing spots on fairways with big slopes watching the ghosts bounce into the heavy rough. Also I prefer to lay up on some longer Par 5's I like to see the distance left from the other players. I would prefer a 92 yard shot vs a 75 yard pitch as I feel I have a lot more control. You can get tips on breaking putts if you are right near each other. What do I know though

I'd say maybe I'll start laying up shots just to throw you off if you're using my ghost, but I know I'll never do that.

I'll have a round 2 ghost ball out there now in case anyone needs an example of how not to play. Had to scrape my way to a -7. Had two or three shots that I hit 100% power P/P but it felt like the bottom just fell out of the ball on the way down and ended up well short of where it was supposed to go. It was just that kind of round where things felt slightly off and it showed up in my score.

Pretty tricky track for sure. -25 and tied for the lead...for now!

-14 first round, putted well, after that missed too many for -46. It seems strange but I don't remember playing a flop during the 4 rounds.
I don't mind the slow conditions, it makes a change.

Still using Ghosts Tim? 🤣 My 1st round was rusty as @!$#. Not used to the roll out and lack of spin on wedge shots. Enjoyed comfortably more than a master club round though. Hope I get the time to finish out. Could be Saturday though.

Takes a few rounds to get used to the roll out, maybe less time if you use ghosts like Tim You can get some spin with fully lofted pitch/lob shots, but not what you might expect. For me, the only real unfortunate thing with this tour is we don’t play the same caliber of courses like the top tours. They are fine, but not designed for this club set. End of last season we did a Ryder Cup event on a course created (or adjusted) specifically for beginner clubs. Fun event and huge difference with the course set up.

Pretty good week 59,59,54,59 for-53. That -17 in Round 3 and -53 might be good enough for the win this week!

We also say beginner clubs do the best job of replicating TGC1 and now we're getting into some good, old-fashioned TGC1 like ghost ball debate. The TGC1 experience is nearly complete now. Oh, and I got -10 in round 3.

And a round 4 stinker at -3. No need to even think about top 10 this week. Too many shots between clubs and too many putts that were way too long.
