Are there any contests coming up that anyone knows of? I'd like to enter one of my trash can courses

generally contests are not for existing courses. You sign up and then the period for creation begins. You have a finite window of time in which to design and publish.

That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't we want a course that's done to the best of the creator's ability instead of rushed through because of a deadline?

it's a test of your ability and part of that is the deadline. Generally you are given like three months to complete it which is should be enough time. Also there are different "types" of contests that cater to different skill levels. Some will allow for longer or even no time limit really. Depends on what you want. However they will all look for courses that are new and not previous publishes.

You can publish and submit those to the database at any time. As far as competition, we want the best you can create in a timeline. That's the fun, and sometimes stressful part. It's a true test of ability. Yes, we can all find that wip from we've been working on for 2 years and it probably could compete. But can you create that in 3 months?
