-12 After two rounds and currently tied 39th. Whether that will make cut remains to be seen (unlikely). I thought the conditions were ok for a change but haven't played rounds 3 or 4 yet!! My only issue, which is a big gripe of mine is once again the course selection. It's the Volvo China Open and we're playing on a British links course. It would be nice if whoever chooses the courses could pick a course that in some way resembles the event we are playing in. Apart from that no qualms.

Cut line is at -10 right now and you typically see a movement of around -2 before the weekend, so I'm gonna say you make it in by the hair of your chinny chin chin.

I see both sides of it...if the events only took place in the setting of the identified country for each event then we’d really become limited in options with courses that could be played. Also we’d miss out on a ton of great courses that fit into a more American look. With that being said it does seem kind of funny when we have event names thay aren’t in line with the setting. Personally I just think of Euro Tour as the “the 2nd most challenging tour” and mostly try to ignore the tour event names.

Started my second round and needed a strong one to make the cut. was discouraged after a couple bogeys on the front 9. Pieced together enough decent shots to be at 7 under(-12 for the tournament) heading into the last hole. Tried to play it smart and not go for the hero shot on 18, but a bad pitch led to a par.
-12 looks to be on cut watch tomorrow, think it’s gonna be very close to if it hangs on or not.

-12 100% makes it. -11 will be close; like 35% yes, 65% no me thinks.

Yeah looking at it again you’re definitely right about -12....my hunch is -11 drops below the cut line

In with a half hour to spare at -13. Needed that eagle on the 18th to get to the weekend. Felt good to make the cut this season at the China Open, where it all began for my TGCT pro career one year ago. What a difference a year makes! Finally, on my way over the bridge on 18 I think I saw a golf bag in the creek. My guess is it belongs to the guy who shot +53, j/k moneyman273!

Earlier this week i played rounds 3 and 4 in case i didn't make the cut because i couldn't play later this week. Figured -11 would not make it and then it started looking promising...checked this morning and saw my name was the last one cut and that's never happened before. Incredibly disappointing knowing i was one stupid putt (and i had several) away from making it. Not that i shot well enough in the weekend to be proud but still

It was my way of clearing the mechanism! Pretty much done trying to come remotely close with competing on TGCT. It's a complete joke regarding the disparity in console difficulty so......I had some fun breaking clubhouse windows and denting cars!

-2 last round ruined me for a good result. Better luck next week!
