DISCLAIMER:
This course was designed to be played in certain conditions, as per the guidelines of the Olympic design contest. As such, it was also NOT designed to be played in certain conditions, those being any weather and time of day settings aside from default as well as Very Fast green speeds. Though you are not required to play in the contest conditions, I strongly encourage you to play in them and I strongly discourage you from intentionally changing the settings to anything listed above. Any negative feedback stemming from changing weather/time of day or setting green speeds to Very Fast is hereby declared dumb and silly and, frankly, is the fault of anyone who chooses to do so.
Also, PLEASE put literally any Terrain Firmness setting you want, just not the default one. The Highlands theme has an incredibly stupid glitch where all Highlands publishes automatically change the default Terrain Firmness to the lowest setting regardless of what the designer does in the course designer, making the fairways extremely soft. Please change Terrain Firmness either to the specified settings in the setup below or to anything that doesn't make the fairways play like a poorly drained municipal course after a thunderstorm.
About the Land
Mammadrouit, derived from the Beothuk word for painted duck, is a coastal links course located on the western coastline of Newfoundland about 30 km south of Gros Morne National Park and about 400 km northwest of St. John's, the new location of the 2020 Olympic Games after a lengthy debate among the members of the IOC. Gros Morne is well-known for its spectacular vistas along the coastline, similarly to Scandinavian fjords, and Mammadrouit's biggest defining feature is its location on a dramatic cape some 150 feet above the bay surrounding the course on three sides.
About the Course
The course is a par 35-37-72 at 7246 yards (6625 meters) from the Olympic men's tees situated in a modified figure-eight pattern designed to introduce the coastline at two different parts of the course (similar to Pebble Beach), playing around large stretches of open shrubland as well as two stretches of woodland. Individual hole designs frequently feature fairways that promote playing into the green from different angles depending on pin position and greens with uneven undulation requiring precise shotmaking and strong course management in order to best set up birdie opportunities.
About the Tournament
The tournament setup is not as impressive as most professional tournaments due to low crowds expected due to the relocation and the remoteness of the site in comparison to most tournament venues (as well as the very large amount of meter tournament objects take up). Seating is set up near the clubhouse, but the rest of the course only features roped off areas for moderate standing crowds; this situation is expected to cause severe issues in flow around the 5th, 6th, 15th and 16th holes due to their extremely compact routing. Hospitality areas are set up by the entrance and between the 2nd and 3rd holes, behind the 6th and 16th greens, along the 8th and 17th fairways, and between the 10th and 13th holes for the convenience of the spectators.
Tournament Setup
Here is the official tournament setup.
R1: Wind Speed Medium, Wind Direction Southeast, Terrain Firmness Firm, everything else default
R2: Wind Speed Very High, Wind Direction Northeast, Terrain Firmness Firm, Green Speed Fast, all else default
R3: Wind Speed High, Wind Direction East, Terrain Firmness Very Firm, Green Firmness Very Firm, all else default
R4: Wind Speed Very High, Wind Direction Southwest, Terrain Firmness Very Firm, Green Firmness Very Firm, Green Speed Fast, all else default
If you want to have an easier setup, I would suggest either waiting for the publish of the Members version or dialing back the wind.

Below are a few pictures from the finished course:
Tee of hole 2
Tee of hole 8
From the camera tower behind hole 11 tee
The double corridor of 6 and 16
And from behind the shared green complex on 9 and 18
A few other holes are more scenic than these, but you'll have to play them to see them
I hope to see you out there on the course. Good luck, bring your camera, and stay safe!
P.S. I have placed a few hidden objects (no goats) around the course for those with an observant enough eye. Feel free to look for then throughout your round.
