I just don't see an issue here. He is clearly not cheating, not using some short swing, he's literally just swinging. So now if we swing too straight legally, we get pulled?? Am I missing something here? This is legit...isn't it? Swing straight but not too straight

Am I missing something here? This is legit...isn't it? Swing straight but not too straight Thanks for that wonderful insight Gains... I’d love to see you get pulled for swinging too straight searchingforthegains or bassman70 or anyone else for that matter - give it a go. Everyone should be striving for that to be fair. Fact is, genuinely swinging straight gets you the full inaccuracy penalty. Swinging wonky does not. It’s very difficult to get pulled that way, but there is certainly some issue with Tyler’s swing setting off the API and that has to be frustrating to say the least. How many others, among the best that play this game, are getting pulled for swinging full and straight? Almost none. Whereas you have 18 pulled in one week for swinging like a Kellogs K. The two aren’t comparable... and it’s past stupid to put them in the same bracket. Not too wonky, not too straight is a bullshit comment. Not too wonky, yes... and don’t use 3rd party pads or short swing, and 99% of you will be just fine.

Alright, here's the video with a handcam like I talked about. I use 3 different DS4's that have all been pulled once in it and show the swing lines for them all. I also show a scuf at the end that should be illegal and how the lines are much more straight edge. Little audio freeze toward the end when I switch to the Scuf but I figured it out eventually lol Have you tried playing the same way, but with your pads wired? In wired control mode?

Yeah I've played a decent amount in wired mode and don't notice any difference, any time my controller is plugged in, I have it on that setting which is a fair amount.

To be clear I have zero issue with Tyler’s method...except I’m jealous I’m not as straight. That’s how the game is meant to be played.

If it wasn’t for the needledicks that DO cheat or use cheesy exploits we wouldn’t need an API. Some innocents will get punished for the greater good. On a side note I read some on PS5 has some new anti cheat detection built in. Hopefully HB will take advantage

I'm just trying to say it looks like his swing is legit...now I don't know why he got pulled, not for me to know. I'm guessing he showed us the video of him swinging because that's how he plays each week. My concern is if that gets flagged what could he possibly to to fix it, if he's swinging correctly with three DS4 controllers. I know there are plenty of people passing each week, but it looks like this poor guy isn't doing anything fishy. I just feel for someone like that.

If I was him I would play a round of Euro which each controller and ask Admin which one passes. Then I would take that one and play a round with Bluetooth and one wired and ask which one is safer. I would also suggest he looks over the controller carefully the Chinese counterfeit are almost exact now days even the box www.ifixit.com/Guide/Difference+between+fake+and+original/125855Tyler, if you don’t mind. How many controllers have you tried that work decent? I am just curious if you have options is all.

Hopefully Jeff doesn't mind me bothering him a little bit more lol. I just own 3 DS4's which are the ones in the video and then the Scuf controller. I used to have about 10+ old beat up ones from college days I could've tested with but I traded them in to get the Scuf and a new DS4. And then I bought the gold one and the grey one in the last couple of months. Interesting on the fake controllers. These are all new from Gamestop or Target, so I would think they're good to go. But I have gotten some used ones in the past from Gamestop that had some super weird issues and wouldn't be surprised if they were fakes.

Im just thinking that a the direct connection might be better for data transmission to the servers... were you pulled with the pads connected or wireless?

I was ordinary in the first 2 rounds with -17 and cut watching. Stormed in the 3rd with -14, then completely fizzled out with even par in the 4th.
edit: oops, wrong thread.

Tgc 1 I heard takes around 10 mins to download. That would save all this controller talk.
