Whoah….what a killer. Some of the pins were diabolical but couldn't tell you how many mid-range birdie putts shaved the hole. Back 9 in Rd2 was a shocker after a great start. Started with a 65 and a "disappointing" 63 in Rd2. Also, anyone notice the change in par "in-game" versus the TGCTours website? My round 1 65 is -5 in the game and -7 on the TGCT leaderboard. Anyway, moving on. Doyley can hopefully help with the par 70 v 72 issue. Should be fixed now

Finished my rounds on -27. Might get flagged for being sh%$ in those final two rounds. Couldn’t hit a single straight shot.

Got my first ever promotion mark last week. It’ll be stripped this week lol. Tempo was terrible and couldn’t make a putt. What a mess

Better start this week than last week with a -7 in round 1. Could have easily been a -10, but man, even after playing some practice rounds I couldn't get the ball to stay near the hole several times with approaches that came close, then fed away from the hole and ended up off the green. Probably get round 2 in tomorrow.

In all seriousness, the course this week is intentionally meant to be a tough test. I get that not everyone will be a fan, but it's always tough to please everyone. In other news: I very much appreciate the professionalism and respect in the Euro thread. It's not the most active of the tours, but those who comment always have a way of staying on track with zero mud slinging. Thanks guys! 👏🏾 You've got a thankless job Darryl, but you've been great so far this season. Keep up the good work. I"ll keep my slinging limited to chucking my controller at various objects in my house. Will update you all with what I break when i play my first two rounds today.

Okay, now that I played, I take it all back. @!$# you Darryl! Wow that was tough. I'm not sure what second round you guys were all playing, but it didn't seem much easier than the first to me. First round, -5 with a lot of poor putts and a couple bogeys to get that ps4 controller firing into some couch pillows. Second round, -6. This one was a much more consistent effort with only one bogey on the 10th, but just couldn't get anything going. I'd love to think with the tough conditions I have a shot at making the cut with -11, but I'm not too confident. Will just have to wait and see if my 4 made cuts in row streak comes to an end. Stay safe out there!

Tough conditions in Rd 1, played well but shaved the cup with putts too many times for a solid opening 63 (-7). Onto Rd 2, agree with CoinHen77 that this played much harder than the first round for me; hitting it ok but continued to shave the cup with too many putts (really need to work more on it) for a disappointing 66 (-4). A -11 total usually not enough but hoping for this tougher tournament that it scrapes in to clear my last Doyley red kiss. Good luck to those yet to play / finish and stay healthy.

Started with a birdie, then sent a 16 foot putt 16 feet long on 3 and bogeyed. I then stuck my second shot on 4 under the lip of the front bunker, tried to chip it out and didn't make it to the green, and bogeyed again. Missed a 13 foot birdie on 5 and an 11 foot birdie on 6, and left a 14 foot birdie 9 inches short on 9. Had 8 great tee shots on the front 9 and went -1. Missed a 12 foot birdie from the fringe on 10. Got it going over the next few holes, including a 25 foot birdie on 13. Followed that up with a very slow downswing into the bunker on 14, only my second unintentional non-perfect downswing of the round, but made par from the bunker. Despite a mystifying fast downswing on my second shot on 18 I also birdied the last 3 holes to get to -7.
Started with a birdie again, missed a 14 foot birdie on 3 and a 24 foot birdie on 4 but at least I didn't bogey them this time. Missed a 14 foot birdie by 5 inches on 5. Had a bunch of terrible shots on 7 and 8 but managed to par both. Ended up -3 through 9, 2 shots better than round 1. Again missed a birdie putt on 10, this time from 9 feet, then made a double breaking 19 footer from the fringe on 11. Put my approach shot on 14 way too long, missed a 10 foot, then had to make a 20-something footer from deep in the fringe just to bogey, which I did. Then left a 25 foot birdie 8 inches short on 15. Birdied 16 and 18 to get to -6 for the round, -13 at the cut.
That's apparently good enough for 3rd place on PC just 2 shots bck so I guess I'll be playing the weekend. My ball striking was excellent almost the whole way through, and I made a couple nice long putts, could have been in contention for a win if not for a few bad miscalculations and giving away too many reasonably makeable putts.

I think it's fair for me to assume -6 will avoid two demotion marks. I'll see you guys one more week at least!

Course destroyed me. Doesn't help that with my new laptop every swing is fast. Hopefully I can right the ship a bit but tempo sure is frustrating me right now.

Great course.
Above my pay grade though. PGA players would complain for 10 pages or longer if this was on their tour.
-5 and -5. My guess is, will miss the cut by a stroke. Hope to be wrong.

What idiot chose a course like this? I believe the question you should be asking is, What idiot designed a course like this?
