Welcome to Sakiyawa, my entry for the 2020 Major Championship Design Contest set on the Northeast coast of Japan. This is my first ever contest course. I would like to extend my utmost gratitude to contest organizers VctryLnSprts and Crazycanuck1985 for allowing me to compete amongst the best. Conditions: All default except... It's been pointed out to me in the past that my courses lack the small details and frills. So, I present to you now, extra frills. Enjoy!

Enjoyable course... lovely scenery really enjoyed the plantings around the course
A nice routing with a few issues with some sculpting especially around some bunkers that could have had their edges smoothed a bit more....
While i thought the holes toward the end around the water with all the walls, it just didnt seem to fit with overall ambience of the course but it was very nice, I especially enjoyed that par three there...so dont take that as a knock at all on the overall feeling of the course...Just my personal opinion on seeing it first time..
A couple very small issues for an otherwise very well done course.... good Job Thomas and best of luck sir in the contest...

Im a fan of the shallow creek that flowed throughout the course. It played to the routing, IMO. Solid course...some punishing greens on the back with small landing zones....expected of a major design.
5*.

Really enjoyed my round here and, as Dylan said, the creek was class - a very nice, natural feature. Lot of fun trying to get at a few of those pins and the stretch from 10-12 was a particular highlight for me. Good luck in the contest and keep up the good work!

Great course! Loved the ravine/dune/bunkers whatever they are called. Hard course that was fair. Wish you could have seen the village stuff more than just on 18.

And with that, it's May. The time of reckoning is upon us.
Good luck to all my fellow competitors. May the best course win.
