As more people get tested more cases are going to show up. That is the biggest complaint I have heard from others I talk to outside of this forum. The lack of available tests.

Yep, cases and infection rate are VERY imperfect measures.
Amount of deaths is really all we can go on for now, and those are still going up around Europe.
Then, after all this, they're going to test random sample groups and see how many people had it. Could help for a possible second wave of the virus, and also just to help us understand the pandemic.

Can't manage what you don't measure.
Everyone should be tested who wants to be tested without exception.

So much for FREE testing and TREATMENT. Once we get through this, I anticipate the courts will be just as overloaded with lawsuits as some hospitals are with patients right now.

Is the coronavirus being spread 'quickly' via gas pumps?

Is the coronavirus being spread 'quickly' via gas pumps? Quickly? Maybe. Would depend on how long it could survive on the surface. There was a report that said covid19 survived up to 17 days on surfaces inside cabins aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship. You cannot get the virus by simply touching a surface that has it. It won't seep through your skin. But you absolutely cannot touch your face after touching that surface without washing your hands first.

That indicates that the virus was present, but it is not actual live virus that can infect somebody. There hasn't been a study yet that shows this survives longer than 72 hours on anything... and under 24 hours on most things.

I dunno if it mutates after that, especially if it finds a host to live in from there. But further studies will tell us for sure.

Obviously these stats are for people at the very serious end of the virus:
"The mortality rate for patients put in intensive care after being infected with Covid-19 is running at close to 50%, a report has revealed.
Data from the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre (ICNARC) showed that of 165 patients treated in critical care in England, Wales and Northern Ireland since the end of February, 79 died, while 86 survived and were discharged. The figures were taken from an audit of 775 people who have been or are in critical care with the disease, across 285 intensive care units. The remaining 610 patients continue to receive intensive care.
The report also found that though the majority of those who have died from coronavirus across the UK were over 70, nine of the 79 who died in intensive care were aged between 16 and 49, as were 28 of the 86 who survived.
The audit suggested that men are at much higher risk from the virus ā seven in ten of all ICU patients were male, while 30% of men in critical care were under 60, compared to just 15% of women. Excess weight also appears to be a significant risk factor; over 70% of patients were overweight, obese or clinically obese on the body mass index scale."

GameStop Is Telling Employees To Wrap Their Hands In Plastic Bags And Keep Working According to a report in the Boston Globe, GameStop employees in Massachusetts have been directed to keep stores open in the state despite the video game retail chain not being an āessentialā service. Massachusetts, like many other states, is taking extreme measures in order to āflatten the curveā and prevent COVID-19 cases from overwhelming fragile healthcare systems. Despite this, GameStop stores will remain open but only for curbside pickup. In order to facilitate this, employees have been given some truly bizarre instructions. Hereās the Boston Globe: āWorkers have been told to wrap a plastic bag around one hand to protect it from exposure to the virus, open the door a crack, and take the customerās credit card, the manager said. Employees are then to run the card with a hand still encased in the bag, flip the bag inside out, leaving the card inside, put the purchase in the bag, and hand it back through the door.ā Entire story > www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2020/03/29/gamestop-is-telling-employees-to-wrap-their-hands-in-plastic-bags-and-keep-working/#46dfcfa16947

By next week, I expect most shelves in stores to be stocked w/o much extra buying.
Why?
Because no one will have any $ left to buy anything extra while they wait for their stimulus $. Three weeks is a long wait.
Restaurant take out won't be happening either.
