We already knew hydroxychloroquine. was worthless for covid.
The otilimab they have given my wife in combination with remdesivir and a steroid that I cannot remember has seemed to at least steady her and could be helping. Only time will tell.

How's the wife holding up Jimmy? In her words “Just saw the doc she says I’m doing great!! She’s gonna send in the physical therapist to see how mobile I actually am while keeping my breath “ She has a tough time sleeping at night though. But last night was better. This is great news.

Also, my hat goes out to the first responders of Covid it's certainly not easy and they were thrown into the fire. Hell 200 Arizona med students were given their graduation diplomas a month early back in April to assist on the front lines, kudos to their long hours and dedication

LONDON (AP) — The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across the planet has surpassed 40 million, but experts say that is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the true impact of the pandemic that has upended life and work around the world.
The milestone was hit Monday morning, according to Johns Hopkins University, which collates reports from around the world.
The actual worldwide tally of COVID-19 cases is likely to be far higher, as testing has been variable, many people have had no symptoms and some governments have concealed the true number of cases. To date, more than 1.1 million confirmed virus deaths have been reported, although experts also believe that number is an undercount.
The U.S., India and Brazil are reporting by far the highest numbers of cases — 8.1 million, 7.5 million and 5.2 million respectively — although the global increase in recent weeks has been driven by a surge in Europe, which has seen over 240,000 confirmed virus deaths in the pandemic so far.
Still waiting for this to just GO AWAY

It’s not going anywhere except people’s lungs.
Atlas is a moron. Stating masks don’t work is incredibly irresponsible. So is his boss.
I saw him on Smerconish trying to bash the projections from medical professionals. Let me explain how dumb that is with a weather analogy.
When a hurricane develops in the Atlantic, we start getting information to help us understand what it will do. We get several models from different professionals including a Euro model. As the hurricane continues to evolve, so does the information.
We began to get landfall estimates from these models. But they are always updated as even more information and data is known so those in the line of fire can be prepared.
Same goes for this virus. The more data and information science is able to understand, the more prepared we all are to defeat it. Some things may be different than initially modeled or understood to be the case but that’s why updated information is important and is subject to change.
People really need to understand that and get off Fauci’s case.

Actually done a lot of work with antimicrobial coatings with bacteria mold and fungi and viruses vs other coatings and cloths. 1000s of dollars and a lot of time spent and cloths are deemed worthless against viruses. Especially cv19. If you really want to study viruses look up Feline calicivirus, strain F9, ATCC VR-782. It's the top dog 😲. That's the standard in line with JIS Z 2801.
Not saying wearing a mask is a bad idea I do wear one and do my part but know they probably do very little.
Here's my prediction.
Harris wins coronavirus goes away. If not TDS will be a registered as a mental illness on the DSM 5.
But what do I know.
Hopefully Harris wins for your mental and physical state. Government will save the day.
Canada? We are almost ten times bigger. Really?
Ok probably get banned and hopefully do because this site is a clown show but had to get it out.

COVID-19 isn't going away no matter who wins any election here in the U.S. COVID-19 cases have been rising since the school year started up. It's not hard to understand that and why we also a summer spike in cases once many states loosened their protocols right around Memorial Day.
"A cult of personality, or cult of the leader,[1] arises when a country's regime – or, more rarely, an individual – uses the techniques of mass media, propaganda, the big lie, spectacle, the arts, patriotism, and government-organized demonstrations and rallies to create an idealized, heroic, and worshipful image of a leader, often through unquestioning flattery and praise."

Probably should tweet that hombre. WTF are you even talking about?
You are literally using a term that Trump uses to slight Hispanics. That only strengthens the cult of personality point I made.

Hombre means brother moron. This is what it's come too. I deleted it because I didn't think you would understand what I meant . Tweeting and social media has had so much misformation like what you just did. You took what I said and made it your own bullshit. Didn't even mention the other things I posted. Just using the racist card. Backs up exactly what I was posting . But hey I'll make it really simple for you since thinking on your own is impossible. You are stronger than you think. Hopefully you reported me though. Be par for the course. 👍

It's awful, counter-productive, and only helps to lengthen the impact of this virus on all Americans. But hey, randomly come on here and politicize it because you drank too much tonight and watched one too many far right wingnut website and shared what you thought was a "gotcha". I am not a fan of the Democratic party at this point, but thanks for thinking you know who I am or what I read, follow, or think. I simply know the great danger that the incumbent poses is all and I have no choice in order to vote to end it in two weeks.
PS: hombre means man, not brother.

Lol I don't think anyone cares what I post here. Certainly not swaying votes. Probably the opposite lol. Actually in all my life this is the only site I have ever been political on. What a mistake that has been. I regret it fully. I know it has cost me. Best part I don't tweet I don't have a face@!$# nada. Don't care. This has been a big mistake on my part. I really had no idea how strong the anger is if you disagree.
Hombre in my world means brother Aka hey man or wut up bro. You know slang. Not a google definition.
I'll let the chips fall but it does seems that one side can put you in a box with no consequences.
Gl on Nov 4th. I really hope it works out.

I get a phone call every evening from one of my wife’s nurses. Last night I pressed her on a few things about the virus that have been a bit cloudy to me.
First I asked her to define “recovered”. She couldn’t. She said that it can vary but in general, it’s when an infected person no longer tests positive.
I followed up with long haulers and people experiencing more problems months later. I stated that they aren’t really recovered. She agreed and said that because this virus is so complicated and we are still learning more about it, it’s going to be case by case and to always follow up with primary care doctor.
Next I asked how do we know when someone had stopped shedding the virus? Is there a test for this? Every resource I found was framed with the words “probably” and “most likely”. I couldn’t find a definitive answer. She said there is no test so they go by the CDC recommendations. For my wife it will be 20 days after she is no longer symptomatic.
So then I asked if they would take another CAT scan to check the progress of the pneumonia before she is released back to the isolation house. She didn’t know but would ask dr. But typically that would only happen if she wasn’t improving. So far she is improving.
I did a little circle back to ask about another covid test. She said that they wouldn’t do another one for 90 days since she was positive with moderate to severe symptoms.
That sounded a bit counter to what she said about coming home in 20 days after symptoms were no longer evident so I pressed a bit, saying that it sounds to me that she could roll into an asymptomatic condition and still be contagious to others. She understood the contradiction but had no answer for it besides referring back to CDC guidelines they have.
Crazy sh%$. Too many unknowns still.
My wife is scheduled to be released to the iso house today though if the dr approves after seeing her later today. Then it’s a 20 wait before she comes home.
By that time I’ll be done my 2nd round of chemo and all the radiation treatments. But because of the spikes of covid here i may not have the surgery to remove the tumor right away since they will not expose high risk people like me. (I am responding well to treatment tho so maybe not needed) Remember we believe my wife got the virus after a trip to ER. The hospital my wife is in gave her a covid roomie bc they are getting full.
Stay safe everyone. Wear a mask and keep your hygiene on point. We are our own best vaccine right now. Don’t listen to POTUS or Fox News. They don’t give a damn about your health.
