I was just wanting to ask what criteria was used to select this course? Especially considering that the par 5 15th had a 200+ yard forced layup to an area that could stand in for the 17th at Sawgrass, retaining walls and all. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt the person who selected this course actually played it. And if you did play it, well, that just makes it worse.

All scores seem pretty low though. Leader is on -13 for the first round in ccf.
That hole you are talking about can be done easily by shooting at another holes fairway to the left of this landing area.
I've played 6 rounds on this course and never even attempted to land there.

Also thanks for the giggle that I never played the course.... I didn't have it rangered either...

So, I'll revert back to the original question and rephrase it for you; what made this course leap out and say, "Pick Me" over the 100+ other possible options?

Not the first time someone had an issue with a selected course, won't be the last. Seems like a loaded question you're asking so I'm just going to say it's difficult to please all people at all times - looks like it's your turn this week.

I'm In CCD but played this event after my CCP tournament.
I kind of liked the course for its different factor.
I remember saying to the floor "this is a weird course". But for me (just personal preference) I enjoyed something a little different.
But hey I get why others may not have liked it.
I don't care I'll play anything. Map out 18 holes on the shape of Oprah's ass and I'll play that, doesn't matter to me.

The problem courses are the ones where the greens are as lumpy as Oprah's ass
