From a judges point of view we all had notes from each of the 5 categories and then a summary. What everyone is seeing is the summary and not the comments about playability, technical, aesthetics, routing & flow, and immersiveness & enjoyability.
There was a panel of 12 judges and each judge was assigned 1 matchup from each group

There is more to it than just the summary. A lot more too it. There's 3 more pages on the spreadsheet which I believe you see when everything is done. If anyone asks after everything is over I'll type up my notes in a PM. I had your course Brad, and I'd be happy to send you a pm. But it will be a couple days after the finals. It takes A LOT of time to play and judge these things, so it won't be until then. Absolutely no rush...I know playing through these can be a grind and a half. But I'm all for the notes! It seriously does help, and I appreciate you reaching out  (wait...it's WCoD and I should be complaining to the judges not thanking them?) ... HOW CAN YOU NOT APPRECIATE ARTFUL COURSE DESIGN, YOU UNCULTURED SWINE!!!! * shakes fist * |

Definitely not on the wrong end...y'all brought some HEAT to this group and I just wanted to make sure all the teams had fun Which according to the reviews (not sure if this is appropriate to post as they're judge's notes), I was able to do: "Despite the technical issues this course still managed to ooze links course. It wasn't the most difficult golf course but I really enjoyed my rounds here.
""Yeah this is fun. Thanks to some clever sculpting. One of the more enjoyable courses in this contest. I wouldnt mind seeing THIS one on a tour as it would be extremely "fun" on very hard windy conditions. The setting is also very believable.
""This course has the feel of a links course."Seriously...I could cry. That's EXACTLY what I was going for, and to see more than one person pick up on that makes me so damn proud. Next round of BEvERages are on me. |

Congrats on those who advanced. Very tough group for sure. Shocked that Nesbit got eliminated and feel even worse for just the amount of work poured into this course.

Well done group E.. For VctryLnSprts and TCRBrad , you both had great courses, best of luck in your future designs... Congrats digitalbunny on the top seed and good luck in the next round..!! Thank you to the judges for this phase, I know it had to be tough! Congrats on advancing Jeff. |
