On sale in the PS store for 10 dollars for the next couple days, anyone played it before? Thinking about giving it a try.

Its great on PC - the only challenge i have is i want to know everything about everything and need every mod and upgrade available and it make me anxious if im not playing it 'properly'  I think I have started it sooooo many times. |

I have it on PS4. If you played and liked any Sim City game then you should enjoy this. I'm sure it controls better with a keyboard/mouse but it works well enough with a PS4 controller that I've never been frustrated with it.
Depending on your budget and confidence level that you'll enjoy it you may also want to consider the Mayors Edition(I believe that's the one). Includes the base game plus two years worth of DLC. I haven't played any of the DLC but for the price of the bundle it's guaranteed to be good added value.

I highly doubt you’ll regret it even slightly. You were right, I’m already hooked! Just be careful. I was playing it quite heavily again up until I got Civilization 6 last weekend. A large part of that play time was spent trying to improve the roads and transit system to clear up some heavy traffic areas, and the game basically became a traffic simulator with a bit of city stuff to go with it. Yesterday I was out on the real life road and we came to a spot on the highway that's always congested and I noticed my mind was subconsciously coming up with ideas on how to make traffic flow better through that area. Did you just get the base version or did you get some or all of the DLC as well? |

This game is the example I always use when I think about how amazing TGC could be if it allowed more user-created objects and mods. I sank so much time into this game when it came out a few years ago.

Well, as promised, here's my "closest to being finished" city of Pacifica. Population of 85k just before a massive death wave hit and dropped it to 76k. Still making money though, and have about 8m in the bank. It'll survive.   |
