Duh.... CiB0RG didn't hook you up For the record - I did not bribe anyone. Either my advancement was a complete and utter mistake - OR - I actually created something good enough to advance. It is my best work to date... Will probably get bounced by Overbrook - but stranger things have happened.. Either way - not losing any sleep over it.. I would just like to drink the DAM KEG...makes for raedang deez freads butter.... Good luck in the next few days. Contests gunna contest. |

gamesdecent - I don't believe I ever said I was the only one who put the hours in on my course, nor that I deserved to win because of the hours I put in. Likewise, my life is hardly effected by this contest. I wasn't sure if my son was going to live or die over the past few months, so yea, I think I have perspective on this. Sorry for being "one of the few" that didn't like the judges' decisions, but I NEVER ripped Jeff's course to shreds (in fact, I don't think I ever said a negative word about his course). You know what, this whole thing is damned if you do, damned if you don't. Heaven forbid we actually show that we care about this crap, otherwise the age-old "it's just a video game" line comes out. It wouldn't be a freakin' hobby if I didn't care about it, but there are certainly bigger fish to fry in life than this contest. I mean, yea, I think we all realize that. I really hesitate to continue with any contest BS at this point.

There’s plenty of people that disagreed with the decision, and not many were shy about expressing that disagreement. I’m just saying, a prominent member got upset with a result, people readily piled on in agreement, and now all the sudden a guy who also put in a lot of hard work and long hours on a course has to sit here and read threads and replies and stream comments and everything else about how his course doesn’t deserve the win or the respect or the praise or the result it got, people are saying the judges suck for their decisions, people are calling for contest formats to be changed to better suit a vocal minority threatening to quit the game and this and that. And through all that he’s been nothing but respectful. I was praising him, not poking you. |

LOL, do I need balls to call you by your real name or the fake one you changed to? I didn’t call you or anyone else out because you weren’t the only one making the comments, and I can’t remember everyone that did.
I simply commented to praise how well he’s handled everyone telling him how undeserving he is and how his matchup has ruined contests and made the judges into the bad guys.

I’m tagging in! I thought Hallstatt should have won the group. It didn’t. I thought mine should have made it out. It didn’t. I’m sure we all thought our course was deserving, otherwise, what’s the point? The time to @!$#ing get over it was a week ago.

Creative, now we’ll switch to having a go at my tour name. IDGAF what name you use, but if you wanna have a go at me, at least use one of them instead of pretending you weren’t. And RJM, I was over it, hence the reason I was joking earlier before guys wanna make comments. Honestly, I don’t need this, you won’t have to worry about me in the future, I’ll stay out of the contest scene and let all of the wise, reasonable people have another spot.
