If you start doing some speculating in the group stages (nearly impossible to do with the quality of these WIPs, but just for fun in your mind), then use that speculation to fill out the knockout bracket, this tournament gets CA-RAZY in a hurry!
No joke, I'll be happy to make it to knockouts, and I'll be even happier if I advance at all in knockouts! Either way, this will be SO fun!
P.S. Dylan, I'm pretty sure in the fine print there is a rule that says, "even if you make 16 courses by yourself, you can't use them all in the bracket just to guarantee yourself a win."

No joke- Every time i start speculating, my motivation takes a huge hit to the nuts... the quality of course it's going to take to just make it out of the group- then the potential crossover match-ups... oooof. sorry to see Daryl drop, I thought he was a waaaay under the radar type that has the potential to make a deep run. |

That’s a fair assessment David, but I almost see the opposite approach, meaning, I’m going to have a great time building my course and then I have zero expectations for how far it may or may not go. I’m fully prepared to see 31 other great courses, so I pity the judges. You’re a fantastic designer (gdog just pulled up Olmsted South again the other night!), so just put out a great course and be proud.
Agreed on Daryl, and Oscar and Sam too. There’s talent for miles in this community!

Im going to finish my course eventually, but wouldnt be close to the deadline for the competition.
Good luck to everyone left, I hope everyone enjoys it and doesnt lose their minds and walk away, its just a hobby.
