Seperate issue, not at all related to anything I’ve mentioned. But now that you have mentioned it, is that going to be the stock answer moving forward to any complaint to avoid addressing it? Or is that just for me?
The captains should be responsible for picking teams WITHIN THE GUIDELINES SET. No one said Doyley should do it. It would have been great to have a Cinderella story from the Euro or KF play, but instead we have a person who shouldn’t be playing, who isn’t one of the best players on the platform he uses representing people on XB??

How about just give a "slow hand clap" to Doyley for pulling this thing off the week after he gets back from vacation and on top of finalizing the promotion event? Geesh. Some people Fantastic point there SmilingGoats! Doyley Thank you for putting this event together. I think the whole thing is pulled off beautifully and I know I wouldn't be able to do something of this magnitude on top of everything else that needs to be done. You are a huge reason why the TGCTours is the best golfing society and community around. It's all very inclusive as well which I think is overlooked at times. It would be very easy to focus most of your time and effort to the higher tours and the top players in the world but you and the whole TGCTours team also spend plenty of time making things fun and exciting for the Challenge Circuit and every tour out there. It gives people something to work towards. I started on CC-D when I first came to TGCTours and now I'm up to #34 in the WGR and to go thru that process has been awesome. Even way back when, I asked you questions in the forums thru messages and you were always gracious enough to reply and help me out. You as well SmilingGoats, so thank you! I do appreciate the inclusion in the President's Cup of a player from each console. I would have loved to make it by points and I tried! However, to have something to fight towards and really push myself to be better has been exciting. Hopefully I don't make a fool of myself out here with all of this immense talent in this Cup. I know speaking from an Xbox perspective, we have a lot of guys that talk regularly and we enjoy the challenge of competing and I always try to make sure everyone focuses on the opportunity we have to make a name for ourselves out here and win against all odds. So thank you for all you do man! It's very much appreciated! GO USA! |

It's too bad the game isn't equal across all platforms, but couldn't agree more that they do the best they can to include everyone. The 3 guys I regularly play with are spread out through various CC tours, and they take just as much joy in a good finish as I do. It's great there's something for players of all skill levels, the same can't be said about a lot of other games. There's a lot of work that goes into it (much of it volunteer) and it's shocking to see the constant shots taken at admins, schedulers, designers etc. Anyways, back to the tourney. Any idea when we'll be able to play our singles matches? The reason I ask is the weekend is pretty booked up with Christmas parties. I know I can play late tomorrow night after hockey, but Friday and Saturday night will be tough to swing. GO INT.. |

You act like I’m upset that I’m not involved myself, when that isn’t the case. I’m pointing out that the rules have been broken and someone is playing that shouldn’t be playing. But rules don’t seem as important around here as they once did. With the influx of new guys the integrity of the tours has been ruined, which is why most of the older players have either left or found other ways to enjoy the game. This event is now a perfect example of rules only being observed when it’s convenient, so we now have a settings fiddling PC player representing XB. Ban me. I couldn’t care less. |
