I honestly wasn't expecting to be selected, but I was asked and graciously accepted. Why the rule was changed, I do not know. I know I was 16th on the list of 30, so perhaps there wasn't another xbox player in that list that responded in time? That being said, even if I was an xbox player, I'm sure there would still be some who would find a reason to whine and complain about my inclusion. At least I'm not the only mouse player!!! At least one mouse player will celebrate a team victory this year!

Yeah pointing out that you shouldn’t have been considered based on THE RULES is a personal attack Ron, why don’t you cry about me to the admins again.. I’d say it was far from gracious to accept a spot that was allocated to an XBox player Ron. Selfish is a LOT better description of what you’ve done. If someone who was happy to play on either team and isn’t from XBox takes the spot, then why even have the rule to begin with? Why not just pick the best players regardless of platform? I haven't seen or heard from you in a year and your first post back was a slam on me a few days ago, so I see nothing has changed. As you are trying to somehow pin this on me as my fault, when all I did was accept an invitation that was offered. I had nothing to do with any of the decisions behind the scenes. From the message that was sent to me, I can only infer that there were attempts to find other people and they weren't responding and time was running out to find a pick before the tournament started. I further surmise that if indeed, Adam is the next Xbox player on the KF tour, then there might have been a conflict in the rules, which also states that a person must be on the PGA to play in this tournament, so I'm guessing that since there was no other Xbox player on the PGA tour available, they went to the next available person but I'm just guessing at this point.
Either way, I didn't change a rule, I wasn't involved in any decisions nor did I advocate for the change and yet this is somehow my fault and I'm the selfish one?
Since you have glommed on to my joke about being a dual citizen as another reason to try and slam me, I guess I have to explain the joke. When I joined TGCtours, I had the option to play under the Canadian or US flag. I made the decision long ago to play under the Canadian flag and have not changed, especially since Doyley has made it clear in the past that people with dual citizenship cannot change nationalities to allow themselves to play in both the Ryder/President's cup. I'm sorry you did not understand that it was a joke or the joke itself. I'll do my best to be more inclusive next time.

For the record I ok'd Ron Duncan playing. They weren't looking for a player down farther on the tours and wanted to keep this as competitive as possible. As Ron is a long standing contributing member here I was more than ok with him getting picked.

I'm not 100% sure but I think that really the only one that's really eligible according to having to be on PGA to play in this would have been Chris Duke. Which is who was selected, and there was attempts to reach out to and he couldn't be reached and didn't commit. Ray honestly I'm all for XB1 players being selected. Trust me, I'm a huge advocate for the XB1 and making sure we're represented and accounted for. I think anyone here will tell you that. I don't know your skill set or how your play looks outside of what i just looked up a bit. I'm sorry that you feel slighted in this position and I understand your point of view. I know that it's hard but I do see it from both sides and I think the folks that selected the teams and made the decision on the last pick when Chris couldn't play were just looking at it from a competitive stand point and who was available. Brighttail is a very accomplished player and I know he will be a strong asset to the International side. I'm definitely not saying that you wouldn't because I believe that any of us XB1 guys can compete well along with anyone. I just think the decision made wasn't necessarily a bad one either. I hope you don't look at it as too much of a slight buddy. |

We added in the XB1 requirement to give them a chance to make the squad - but not at the point of forcing a team to have to take a guy 3 tours down. USA got the #1 ranked XB1 player and the the others either didn't respond or were from wrong countries. We made a decision to go with next best avail and we've moved on. Ray you need to play better to be considered...didn't even know you were on a main tour - TGCT Sim Tour wins don't count  |

USA got the #1 ranked XB1 player and the the others either didn't respond or were from wrong countries. We made a decision to go with next best avail and we've moved on. Ray you need to play better to be considered...didn't even know you were on a main tour - TGCT Sim Tour wins don't count Im looking and looking, but can’t find where you said that representatives had to be on the top tour, or the second top tour. If you’re going to include someone who doesn’t qualify at the expense of the person who DID qualify because they play on Euro or KF, then you should have stated so rather than saying that each team had to have a representative from each console. This is horsecrap - you’ve broken the rules to include someone who wasn’t good enough to qualify on merit so you’ve handed them a charity spot?? Why? Slow hand clap Ron. Lol. If I took my WGR seriously I wouldn’t play where and how I do. Anyone who has been around more than a season knows when I play on PC and give a crap, I’m better than most. It’s not MY spot he’s been gifted. The person who SHOULD be playing probably doesn’t even realise.
