Scenery looks good, will be interested to see the rest of the plot and some holes.

FINALY have some time off over the next 2 weeks to put in a ton of work. Question for the masses, how can I get rid of this "rocky" layering between beach and water?

A hint for those playing the 2nd... Aim your second shot over the large dune if you're going to take on the green in two. Left of it is the bailout, right is certain doom (unless you get a lucky kick...)

FINALY have some time off over the next 2 weeks to put in a ton of work. Question for the masses, how can I get rid of this "rocky" layering between beach and water? There is a way, but it's a bit of a pain - I think ohheycat had a video on it a while back. If you search 'beaches' in the forum and do some digging, you should be able to find it. It's something to do with placing multiple water bodies, which is annoying and fiddly. I've never been particularly good at it and literally only done it once, hence why I'm not adding too much more than that lol!

At this point its probably too late to use my method, as it would require you to place water bodies around the entire plot that are higher than whats there currently

I’ve thrown mine out there for group E, so I’ll be looking forward to this one so I can play my competition. You are the great unknown in this group, so that scares me!

Lol no no...just haven't been in-state for the last 3 weeks (BIG shoutout to Yellowstone National Park and the Chattahoochee National Forest) Not sure why my screenshots are suddenly gone from the thread, but I'm about 60ish% of the way done. Good news is that I'm home for the remainder of the competition, which means I get to take the proper amount of time to polish up my course. Happy to be what looks to be the only Links submission in this contest, but I can confirm that the other 3 in my Group have created FAR better submissions lol Just hoping to create something fun and unique to this event...and build off this performance for contests to come (Shoutout to VctryLnSprts digitalbunny & zzfr33b1rdzz for some really good stuff. Haven't played 'em yet, but the posts here are awesome!)

And Adam's boreal totally not links-inspired course. ^

Working through the final details of course playability + sculpting...want to make sure I've got the bunkering and mounds sculpted JUST right to not hurt sight lines/the ocean view. A big thing I work on is the golf itself. The course needs to be ready before anything else happens, and I tend to be extra detailed with the options the golf course provides (translation=not an experienced planter) Trying to make this thing as authentic of a links experience as possible... I also fixed the shoreline, BIG thank you and shoutout to ohheycat for the tips/guide video I'd say I'm about halfway done with 2 weeks left to go (hooray for crunch time)...here is what you'll see when you play my course. REALLY hope these photos stick on the thread this time lol

Welcome back, sounds like we're in for a fun round after publish. And if you look at all like your in game golfer, you look exactly like a Brad.
