I hear you. I'm tied for 7th right now. Shot -7 in the final round though. Probably will take a big hit because of it. Mark my words: Round 4 is the toughest. I do not think that we will see a lot double digit under par scores. Rd 4 was my only double digit under par score Hpe i can jump from T30 into the top 25

As one of the last minute rushers...did I need to ask? On the front page of the tournaments I was staring at a big countdown clock saying I had until Thursday Midnight to get my rounds in. Nowhere did I see a post by staff stating otherwise or to ignore the clock for this tourney. Also, 3 hours to go, in this very thread I posted my concern over the winds and how I would struggle. A tournament marshall (who I would consider staff) stated "Good Luck"...not "don't push it, there isn't a deadline". dont blame me for your windy round i only wished you good luck

i thought round 1 had the toughest pin locations, or at least a few were impossible

Round 1 pins were ball squirt nightmares

No fair guys, stop replying to me about the DQ's! I said I wouldn't talk about it in this thread anymore...
Talk about my ace instead!

Round 1 pins were ball squirt nightmares Ball squirt was a problem in all 4 rounds. I played at my worst in round 1 and the result of -5 showed it. But I played well in round 4 and scored only 3 shots better.

I only respond to this because you asked for an explanation. As far as I am concerned the case is closed and anything afterwards is the sour grapes and unneeded. Even those DQ'ed have accepted it with grace, why not move on...it's just a game and I am sure Doyley and others will get over it...as should us all. My last word on the subject, don't take my response as being all serious, I am having fun here and enjoy posting in forums. I mean, not really. Just because I didn't lobby one way or the other before the decision was made doesn't mean that my very first opinion expressed on the matter isn't valid. And just because Doyley and Jim are good guys doesn't mean that I can't take exception with how the issue is resolved, as it affects how matters like this are handled in the future. I've already expressed that I'll accept the decision and I trust the guys running the Tours to use their heads and make calm judgments. I just really want to avoid future situations where people lobby for other players to be DQ'd based on rules that are unclear. There are no financial stakes here (as far as I know), so I'd rather see close interpretations like this be more lenient. Not everyone is going to accept the decision as well as these guys did, and we really as a community should try to get and keep as many people involved as possible. As I previously stated, a situation where 2 guys could have kept their scores now presents a situation that might negatively affect more Champions players in the future. We all want a fair environment to compete in, but we shouldn't consistently be making it harder for people to have their scores count or to participate. And as I also indicated before, whether it is true in this situation or not, the subtle undertones are there of looking for ways to take down top players, and I most definitely don't want to do anything that helps facilitate an environment where that happens regularly. Score Deadlines
1st and 2nd round scores must be submitted by 23:59:59 (UTC -5:00) on Thursday of the tournament week.
3rd and 4th round scores must be submitted prior to the end of the tournament
You may submit all of your rounds prior to the Thursday deadline, if you wish.
Please point out what is unclear?

what or who is bbt? edit lol, nevermind, ya prolly Message received.. I get that no respect will be given for possibly taking over the number 1 spot without the number 1 being able to defend it.. Hell, I wouldn't respect someone defaulting to number 1.. Personally I don't think I will since my last two rounds were rather poor... But should I actually pass Scott Doyley and claim the number 1 WGR, out of sportmanship, I ask to relinquish my WGR points and be disqualified from the WGC. I would rather earn the number 1 position than have it handed to me due to oversight. Scott deserves the number 1 position as he is, by far, the best player in our community. I feel I've earned my number 2 ranking and would rather stack up against Doyley, than be default number 1.

He will thrive on the challenge of getting it back.
