My 2 cents...... since I have been busy and pretty quiet after the rookie contest. I designed an amazing course. Many players agreed however the judges didnt..... and I agree with them... I knew I would have judging issues with light rough and perhaps the course would play too short with generous yet non flat greens, but thats a risk I took as I thought it woukd be a nice CC AM course. ...... and thats where I want to add to this thread... The feedback I received from the judges on their play throughs was spot on... a pity Reeb didnt get to mine  that hammer never dropped. . .....and each and every experienced designer I contacted afterwards replied back to me with respect and clear feedback aswell, if they had any.... Now to you Tott as you reignited this thread.... what is the purpose of your return here.... most of us have either moved on to other projects. . after licking our wounds to re open again and againš.....where as you have a way of harping on an issues weeks after?
i was banned for a month, when i came back to check the contest, i had almost 30 notifications. most from being tagged in these threads. so i came to them to see what i was tagged in, and see results since i missed that. when i saw someone say they were discouraged, i replied to him. didnt reply to anyone else. didnt seek anyone out, didnt tag anyone. people rushed to reply with more witless bs, and thats somehow my fault LOL. totally my fault that you feel so attacked that you need to think up another zinger to hide the pain.....

Heās just after an argument to sow disharmony amongst the community because he didnāt get the review he wanted.. he enjoys the angst-full replies knowing that heās getting on your tits... just ignore the guy!
i got the notes i wanted after i asked about them. said thank you and copy pasted them to my course files.
i replied to one person, in response to what he said. the fact that all of you felt the need to still throw in your 2 cents, and then blame ME for YOUR replies? hahahahahahahahahahahahahha best joke i heard all week LOL
sorry that i seem to be forcing you to reply to me. i just cant control this power......

guys...  Back to what this thread should end on... Congrats Ben on the win and all the other rookies for a competition that produced some quality courses. I see a bunch of you have stepped up to the plate and joined the World Cup. Love it. Good luck to those who did and to anyone who didnāt I encourage you to keep entering other contests later or reaching out for tips for future publishes. Each designer and the community gets better with every new course. |

Seriously letās move on, every time we drag this thread on with the negative nonsense and sparring words we take away from what these contests were really meant to be and what they are really aimed at doing for the community. In every contest there are always complaints about lack of feedback and negative feedback and people who donāt like the fact that they didnāt win the contest. The reality is that this contest especially is about introducing a whole new group of designers to contests and the design community as a whole. Congrats to all of you for stepping up and publishing courses in this contest and to Ben for winning the contest. |
