ok I published it its called vlad - LIDO ohheycat I will get some pics up soon now plant meter at 75% not sure get 18 holes might end up as 9 hole course.

okey now some pickies to drool over only kidding. this is pic of the bridge I used houses get the slope approach you see on the bridge. Bridge centre is about to be raises so you can see in game the red light and gates have shut. If look light it swivel green light for cars.  This image shows the toll booth its not free the bridge to cross but only charges 50 pence.  now we come to hole one tee shot this par 5 525 yards depend on pin could be tough ask to reach in 2.  hole 2 tee shot this par 3 159 yards  hole 3 tee shot this par 4 455 yards  |

Thanks again for entering the 1st Lido Contest at tgctours. I have decided against anonymous nominations because its easier to make sure no one nominates twice/themselves not that i think anyone would but there can be no question. Submit your noms to me via pm by nov 20 and we'll take it to the clubhouse forum from there. Good luck!
Also the temaining shorts will be completed my Monday night

Cutoff for nominations is the 20th, then I'll take some time to prepare the finalist showcase, hoping to hit the final stage by the 1st of December. We are still missing some noms so it doesnt look like its going to happen early for now. If I somehow get the rest tomorrow then I could move it back a week but otherwise thats the timeframe

All the nominations are in! I will have the finalist showcase prepared by Dec 1st and accompanying that will be a poll that decides our fate. I will also announce the Lido 2 with the six month window at that time. It will run similarly but I will separate short and long par 4s into seperate categories since it seems silly to compare a driveable with a 500+ yarder. I fully expect publishes from wcod and the major in that contest as well as hopefully a much larger field. I think the nomination and community vote judging strategy will allow this to scale up seamlessly, but I do have an idea if the entries get too high. Keep an eye out, theres not a whole lot of ways to figure out what this group of designers think you do the best Oh and ps I just published Surtsey Island golf club, which is the full course from which my entries came. You should def check it out  |

Just to get your wheels turning I will release a tidbit from the finals..
For par 3 we have 3 advancing to the finals.
For par 4 we have 3 advancing
For par 5 we have only 2 advancing
Overall again only 2 are advancing
For best view we have 4 advancing.
Not advancing does not mean it was not nominated, for an example in the par 5 category we had 4 noms for 1, and 3 for another. Then there were 2 more with 1 nom each(one of which is mine, thanks by the way) those 2 are outnominated 3 fold and are therefore not advancing. In case of ties or 1 nom difference I put the entries through.
