I hereby admit defeat on b101 par 5. The cat strat is there, but i just cant get the banana ball to bounce up to that back pin. I need about 2 more yards of room on the right side of the green. I think its.. *ahem* ..impossible. Not to say you cant eagle it but making a 25 footer on these greens is about the same as making a basket from the top of a skyscraper In fact, I came closer to acing the par 3 than I did on the fiver You want to check the scoring on the PGA for that hole this week... whats the hole # on the full course? It looks like the par 5s played nearly a stroke under par round 4, where on the pga we often see them up to a stroke and a half under. That back right pin..regardless of wind will not likely get more than a couple (any) eagles, you have to get lucky too. I got my clip though for your short, i think you'll enjoy it

But yeah, the point of the back right pin was to make you earn a two putt birdie rather than just have at it tgctours.com/tournament/holebyholestats/4677

PUBLISHED - OHHEYCAT LIDO Par 5 - 620 yards. Any sensible golfer would play this as a 3 shot hole, however there 2 routes to the green in 2, and both put par at risk. Carrying the fairway bunker left puts you on a speed slot and when thats not an option, a small sliver of hope is available to the right. Par 3 - 289 yards This hole carries 2 radically different approach options. Going right at pins is no easy task at this yardage, and if you're not feeling it, I have closely mown the hill in front to allow you to safely-ish run balls onto the center of the green. This hole is a par hole, and will likely play over par in any tournament setting. Very loosely based on a reverse redan, with the shouler being where the fringe begins. Mega-Redan anyone? Par 4 - 436 yards. From the tee, the landing area for driver is blind. And all you can see over there is the bay cutting into the hill that blocks your view. Additionally, the green is guarded left by a severe fringe runoff, making the prudent play left of the bunker and bringing all of that water firmly into play. There is no safety, choose your path!

Countdown to release: Par 5 670 yards (If you're lucky) 590 yds if you go for it. Well over 700 if you screw up. The tee area has trees lining each side, making you feel comfortable. A view of the houses over the trees makes the shot seem inviting: The key is the three small bunkers (sized to make them seem farther away.) Aim for the left bunker and smash driver to hug the edge of the water and you can reach in 2. The middle bunker with driver will let you cut the corner of the water and set yourself up for a short approach. The right bunker is the heart of the fairway not always the best option as a wayward shot could make you wish you were in the water. As you move down the fairway things open up. You go from the woods to the suburbs: Then from suburbs to the city: The idea of the hole is to make you feel smaller and the hole feel bigger the closer you get. And if you really want to feel small. Hit to the wrong area on the largest green on the course.

While not as ambitious as a lot of these, I made a little three hole version of Copper Dunes. Published under "Copper Dunes LIDO".

Probably the three I'd have chosen from Copper as well - all the par fives on that course were really good though!

Countdown to release cont'd:Par 4- 425 yardsThe tee offers one of my favorite views on the course: You get the city, the homes, the canal, and the woods all at once. The landing area isn't as friendly: Rocks, bunkers, water, trees, and a python or 2 all guard the tight landing area. Even a 2 wood has its challenges. Carrying a hybrid would be the best layup. But i prefer ripping driver past all the trouble to generous landing area if you make your shot. The green is modest: Not very big, but if all goes well on the way, you should have a good look at birdie.

Got over half of the shorts up. Im not the most charismatic and I dont have time to script them so its just ad lib, but I think its a decent job at a showcase for the entries

Countdown to release finale (You're probably thinking, "what about 2 and 1?" Well there are no par 2 and 1s) Par 3- 137 yardsThe tee shot requires an iron into the ocean winds, with a 13 ft. drop to the center of the green: When asked about this tee shot, Tom Watson said, "I've never played there." And Steve Kerr was quoted as saying, "Uh, I coach basketball." Thanks for the soundbites, here's the green: The ball will take some fun hops and rolls making for a fun golf hole all around.

I finally finished my huge retaining wall sculptured it. Retaining wall runs along competition par 4 then into another par 4 which will be my course later as it was bare land i did the hole so from comp hole you get imersion that your going to 4th hole. Makes the course look better but man doing 900 yard plus retaining wall was crazy and possible foolish with time limit. There few tidy ups to do but then its all systems to publish.
