What in the world happened in this division??
The size of people have almost doubled, and what was normally an above average score, is just barely above the demotion mark, and all the people that were normally competitive are now getting not two but THREE demotion marks. Its like some Pro division has been merged with us.
It's because Q-School has gone mad! You've got an influx of another 100 or so new CCG card holders this week.
Ah, wow. Only thing I can think of is that maybe people are bored at home and are coming back or now playing?
I don't play every single week, I only really play if I like the course, and even then, I'm mainly playing for the fun of playing neat new courses, with some competition as a motivational gauge, as a warmup round for USE and NFL. But I have played enough to know the norm.
Last week was crazy! For those of you that are new, don't get discouraged if you aren't at the top. Just have fun playing. a) there are a LOT of really good players on this game, with the default rules here, and either you are one of them, or you aren't. b) the system is pretty good at putting people with others of the same skill level, BUT, it takes it a while to sort it out. Like several/many weeks, not just one. So as long as new people are trying the game and ending up in this division as a starting point, its gonna be a bit skewed until the ones that had a bad Q school but are better than that move on up.
Just remember, have fun, enjoy playing, and look around, there are many other different societies with their own rulesets to join and be a part of!

Hello everyone, I am one of the only French people on the tour. I have been in G since the beginning, about 1 month. And at the beginning when I saw the scores of -40 or more, I wondered how I could even compete. But it comes little by little, this game requires training, and it's Top. And there today, I just did -28 on the 4 days, so on the track for a top 30 I hope good game everyone.

Went R1: -2, R2: -1, R3 -8! Checked where that put me this morning. Tied for 29th in Pro Clubs. Thought if I put up a good final round I had a chance a top 10. Well, I completely lost my swing and shot a +1 to finish -10. That +1 included a birdie on 16 and a hole out for Eagle on 17. Better luck next week I guess!

I have a feeling the scores are going to go pretty low this week. I went +11 overall at the Badlands and turned in a -30 this week. I’m hoping that’s good enough for top 10, but I’m guessing that it won’t be all that close.

How long does it take for Promotion/Demotion marks to update? I received a -3 in the Guy Harvey Classic and then a +1 last week, but I still have the -3 next to my name.

Glad to see this tournament come to an end. The greens gave me fits this week. Apparently not everyone else is struggling as bad as I am here with some of the scores I'm seeing! I was worried I might receive a demotion mark being -6 after 2 rounds. Just finished 3 and 4 and got to -17 thanks to a final round -7. I felt like the same 4 or 5 holes gave me trouble in every round. Hopefully the -17 gets me in the middle of the pack and free from a demotion mark.

Greetings CC'ers… In the upcoming week you take on the PGA championship qualifier. This is similar to the Masters qualifier where some number of you (leave for Doyley to say the exact number) will get the chance to play in the PGA Championship. As such, this tournament is ment to be tough... You're playing this week at Bethpage Black.. which hosted last years PGA championship. It's set up to tackle all aspects of your game over the four rounds... It starts out soft, but then firms up and speeds up as you go. Just a fair warning that this week is up there in difficulty. If that's not your cup of tea, or you are worried about getting a demotion strike or two.. this might not be the week for you You can always try your hand at cc pro tournament (played on the same course, but slightly tougher conditions). For those of you tackling the challenge... this course will eat your lunch if you try and play hero. Prepare yourself to limit you misses and take your medicine when needed. You can score around here If you play well. Good luck and have fun!

Is there a way to tell what tee boxes are played for the four rounds? I wanna play some practice rounds.
