Had a decent first round, okay second round, and two terrible final rounds in the first tournament. Hoping to just keep nabbing top 10’s with these master clubs

How's everybody finding their rounds at The Cabernet Club?

Rough start to the season. Struggled at Cabernet and received 3 demotion marks. Looking like I got one back this week. Really hoping to start playing better like I can! Enjoying the courses so far.

Hello CC-G’ers, I have just joined you up from CC-Z, already after one round can see there is a massive gulf in quality in scores. Hoping I can hold my own eventually may take me a couple of comps. Good luck to everyone playing this week.

Just posted my first score in CC-G.
-1 -7 -6 -11
-25 in total. Not sure where abouts that would leave me come round 4 in this circuit but it is my highest score on tgc to date.

I got put in CC-G after the Q-school. I feel like i do not belong here. I played two tournaments and already got 3 demotion marks. I give myself a couple of weeks before i get demoted
I already see progression in my game. Posted my best score this week in tgc -11 after 4 rounds. I was -15 but had 1 horror hole in my last round:(

I was -15 but had 1 horror hole in my last round:( That is a lot better than how i started, i think i got +27 whilst in Q school, then it took me a while to really get going, was in Z for maybe 8 tournaments, including the tail end of last season. Moved up after placing 5th in a tournament. Played a couple in G now and placed 11th last week with a score of -34, to then hit -2 this week. I am very up and down. It gets easier, i found ive played best when i have played a few rounds on the upcoming course whilst i wait for sunday, as you get a feel for what the puts were be like and course knowledge etc.

Had a great start to the week at -11 to see my name at the top of the leaderboard for the first time, only to play my second round and forget how to putt. This course suits my game well, but had to take a break after round 2 before playing the weekend. Hopefully, I can turn it around.

Thats better than i got overall! these past two weeks i havent got going at all, -12 last week then after four rounds this week a measly -10. I have put less time into practing since i hit -34 a couple weeks back and its really starting to show.
If you continue playing like your first round you will be there or there abouts come the end of round 4.

Honestly, it's funny from week to week because the course last week, for whatever reason did not suit me. I think I ended up like -10 or so after starting the first two rounds with a -1 total. Will definitely try to turn it around on the weekend this week, but sucks knowing all the strokes I left out there on this course knowing it's a good scoring course for me.
Appreciate the support, and wish you the best on your grind back up to around that -34 number.

That number 18 green on Bellawood is just ridiculous. Was on the fringe in regulation, then tripled it simply because the slopes were so big the ball kept rolling 30 million feet back and forth. couldn't get it to stick or stop at all.
Totally ruined my thoughts of what otherwise seemed like a very decent and nice course.

Finally getting under par regularly, but if anyone's familiar with the 'String Game', a yard a round would save me a half dozen strokes. So far, other than the course that snaked around the lake a couple of weeks back, I've enjoyed the tournament choices. I'm a stock XBox One player, so I know I'll rarely see my name in the top 100 come the 72nd hole.

PicnicGuy / BobalooNOLA Are you playing Masters on XboxOne? If so, then maybe you're right, but if playing Pros, don't doubt yourself. I managed to pull off a win a couple weeks ago in G on an Xbox, far and above the best I have played in a tournament. Keep grinding and you will get there!

I'm rather enjoying this weeks course. Being a resident of NC, this is exactly what I'd envision a course down near the beach and sandhills to be like.
