Recovered to a top 25 by the looks of it after a distinctly average first round.
Final round of 59 was decent, 3 putts I misred from within 8 foot which was a shame. Still, long may this new found form continue!

-9 -8 -7 -6 (-30)
The only thing worse than that 15th hole was my putting. I missed so many makeable putts. Led me in getting pretty tilted at times.
Will be getting my first ever demo mark this week. Frustrating.
Congrats to all who played well and took advantage of the course this week.

Hi everyone, been playing this game for a few months now, never knew how in depth the whole TGC Tours was until I joined it last week! Love games where if you put the effort in you will get rewarded, so after a pretty average Q- School (-23) I'm here in CC-C and taking part in my first event at Skyfall and after 36 holes I feel I'm doing ok at -19, but who knows! Looking forward to getting involved and of course improving, its harder than real golf I'm finding!!

Well I'm back. Had to take a few months off TGCTours out of frustration with conditions and courses I hated. Still playing at least one round every day for 4 years? YIKES! SO what's been happening. Nice to be back. My biggest complaint is boredom with TGCTours as I' really too consistently mediocre. One demo mark and one Promo mark in 2 years zzzzzzzzz
BUT - here I am in my normal spot 70ish! I'm glad there is so much new blood. Nice course this week. 187 greens are for designers that need a crutch. Sort of a cheap way to make it a little tougher - upper 170s is harder then 187 I feel. 187 is just being lazy.
And that is my rant of the day

I don't happen to agree with that statement at all, but please also keep in mind that 187 isn't necessarily how the course was published, because schedulers do have the ability to change that for the rounds, as I'm sure you know, so it's a broad assumption to make that just because you're playing it at 187 on tour, the designer made it that way (which I don't think is lazy anyway). Carry on.

Another mediocre first round (64). Struggled with putting where a fair number just missed or lipped out. I did find the course fairly difficult, with no real excitment happening anywhere on the 18 holes for me.
Roll on round 2!

And that is my rant of the day Skyfall Links Black was published @160 green speed, with the intent to give the scheduler the option of using 4 different green speeds throughout the tourney if he so wishes to do so.

My putting really let me down this week, normally a strong point for me but wasn't working at all - I've got a new curved monitor and not sure if I just need to get used to it or if my eyes are playing tricks lol
-31 after the 4 rounds, hopefully see me in the middle of the pack!

Welcome to all the new guys.
My first round is in this week at -11. 10 birdies, 1 eagle and a 'bad chip' bogey.
Good luck to all.

Started this week's tournament with a -9 and a -7. Steady enough start, if I can replicate that for the next two I should do OK for my first official tour event.

Round 2 was disappointing, started well but then poor course management and some weird wind playing tricks on me. 3mph tailwind adding 15 yards to a 9i caught me out with a P/P on one hole and I had 2 or 3 others like that. Finished with a -7. Round 3 I've had to stop. 1st shot it lagged on downswing and got a very slow into the water. Took a bogie. Then again on the 5th hole it lagged on downswing again so presuming the local internet box is just loaded up with people working! Even par after 5 so this will be a tough round from here. I can't find many flat parts on the fairway either. So many of my shots find a yellow or red slope

A -7 and -6 tonight to finish on -29. Really need to work on my putting if I'm to climb the ladder!

-9 -8 -15 -8 (-40)
Would have been nice not to have 3-putted five times but I did get an albatross in that third round so I've got that going for me, which is nice.
Good luck to all who have yet to play!
