Shot -8 and -10 in my final two rounds for a total of -34 for the tournament.
Struggled with commitment on a handful of shots/putts each round which was annoying but otherwise played fairly decently.
Once again, I really enjoyed the course this week. Well designed and great pick by our scheduler!

Well, I wasn't here with you guys long, as my slide through CC-Pro continues. I have earned my 5th demo mark this week even though I was -29, so off to CC-D I go.

A lot of people sliding at the moment. There are more people in each tour but the placements for red marks haven't been adjusted.
It should be done as a percentage of the field so the number of people doesn't matter Eg currently if 250 people play, 90 will get 3 demo marks
That's just crazy

That's why they're in the process of putting a cap of 200 players per flight following this week's results. It's a band-aid solution due to the influx of players until they can add another flight.
Basically anyone who finishes worse than 200th this week will get demoted.
CC-Z will have a bunch of players but there's no demotion marks there so it doesn't really matter at the moment.

Yea, I’m not complaining, I finished like 140th, so I deserved my mark. I already had 4, so it’s just that this one sends me packing.
I had some progress with my game this week actually, and I’ve been practicing a lot, so I’ll be doing my best to get back.

15'th hole on Oxford Greens just baffles me. No idea how to play it.
Was going to try a punch shot with a driver off the deck but decided for the crank it way over there then add a Sload of draw...surprised to have even made the green. Was going to settle for a par but wound up with getting birdie out of it...

I shot -24, which a week ago got me top 20 and this week almost a bottom 20. LOL I personally did not think there was that much difference in difficulty between the two courses, but based on the play of the majority of people, I am definitely incorrect. Anyway, we will see what CC-D brings!!

Doh! missed out on the win last week by count back (back to the 15th hole) on the final round! Shame I only got 1 green tick for joint 1st @timb I'm with you on that hole, I shot a 6 after smacking a tree stump with my 2nd shot but I have to say I enjoyed it! This weeks course I really like, even after a disappointing -6 opening round.

After round 1's struggles (66) round 2 was much better. I still bogied the 15th to take that hole to +3 after 2 rounds, but an overall 62 helped boost me up the leaderboard.
Round 3 - not sure what happened yesterday when I played this, I think I got possesed by the TGC gods as everything went my way. 3 or 4 putts sank from +20 feet (one from near 40ft), I was -10 after 9 holes and couldn't believe what was happening. I ended up with a career best 56 (-16), and that includes my TGC 1 & 2 careers! I even managed par on the 15th!
Not sure I'll break into the top 20 with that score, but -32 after 3 rounds gives me some hope in round 4 for a top 20 finish.

Rd1: -8 Rd2: -8
Usually this designers' courses seem a little boring and safe to me, but this one has some fun, quirky, bold holes that I appreciate. Definitely more memorable to me than usual.
Really struggled with putting - and the greens are NOT tricky! So that was a bit frustrating....felt like I played well enough for a -10 or -12 score, but just missed too many makeable putts. Also struggled to score on the first 6 holes, over the first two rounds I only managed -1 in the twelve tries. Not great.
Hopefully I can put up something a little more competitive in rounds 3 and 4....

Well a -35 finish for me this week. Solid 'middle of the pack' finish. I did get a HIO at 8 in the final round.
