I'm playing in two other societies aside from this one. Probably 20 a week currently.

Usually only 2 or 3 other full rounds each week. But hundreds of shots in the designer, admittedly often under more neutral conditions.

I gotta get to playing more rounds. Competition has gotten better and my game has tanked!

Pretty sure you're "Top Bob" this week. And "Rob"s & "Robert"s aren't included, sorry. There's a book that explains the difference, and why Newhart is an icon, while Dick Van Dyke's classic TV personal was definitely a 'Rob' instead.

Worst opening 2 rounds in a while. Triple bogey on #7 in rnd 2 got me upset, and I lost a bit of focus. That pin was in a nasty little spot to come up short. Hopefully I shoot better when I play my final 2 rounds later in the week.

I wouldn't go that far, but maybe rnds 3-4 will change my mind, LOL. I was 4 under through 6 before encountering that pin in rnd 2, and shot even in a practice round, so it's not backbreaking. Just a beeeeyotch if you're not 'on'. Makes up for last week, where double digits under par wasn't even top 200.

Is there a league below CC-Z, cause after this week, I don't even belong in CC-Z. LOL. Couldn't break E on any rounds. Almost think they could add a few more leagues in between G and Z.

Didn't fare much better in rnd 3, but actually got a couple strokes back in the 4th. Pulled the Masters clubs from the trunk for the last 2 days, since it was a lost cause at +7 after 2. Mostly the extra length is good, but man, mishits are certainly amplified ... still, on a more generous course, I might have to start using them regularly. Hopefully, some of the players ahead of me either WD after the round 2 frustration , or have some troubles as well. I can't imagine that +11 will be 'above field avg', but I can hope. Always next week, right, even if they have to create a "ZZ" flight for us duffers !

This course was quite a bit harder than last week’s course. The pin location on hole #7 in round 2 was brutal like everyone has said even though somehow I got lucky and birdied it. Didn’t birdie many more and finished -6 for the tournament. I got promoted to G after last week but am working my way back to Z. I already played a couple practice rounds on next week’s course and it should be much easier.

Nicely done, Deke. Looked like a lot of potential WDs as of 5pm, maybe I'll move up a few spots by attrition. I always finish, and in this case, my 4th was my best round, so ...

Hey Bob hope things are well. Hope you don’t mind but saw your name as the last post and read back a bit. I checked out your scorecards. You are really close. -2 for 66 of the holes. Maybe try taking double and triple out by playing for tap in bogeys at worst as soon as a birdie putt is out of the equation. Glad to see you got the old sticks out of the trunk. Cheers.

More than that, this week my lack of focus showed, especially round 2. Almost all my bogeys & most of my pars are tap-ins. But I had a couple of 3 putts, and just misjudged my wind A LOT for some reason this week. Of course, then I am either above the hole or side hill putting. Last week I was -11, but about the same relative to the Z field.
We are still doing okay, although we're into triple digit (F) days, so I don't get on my green except before 10 or after 7. And the same for dogwalking.
I've almost finished another course, but still need to play through under a variety of wind/pin/speed combos. There's a 5 minute (!) preview video link in the 'Under Construction' forum .. "Alamiss" as it's a fictional course on the US Gulf of Mexico coastline. Not a work of art, just a little course with reasonable daily green fees.

Glad to hear you’re doing good. It’s only 60 F up here be nice to meet in the middle. I’ve gone as far as cleaning out my golf bag but haven’t played a hole yet.
Your video was great. Musically and the course looks like your best work. Psyched to play it. I am working on two. FFMBETA2 is a beta I published if your interested. I love feedback. Peace.
