Thanks ... getting closer, but have a couple other thinas that distracted. Sticking on topic, final results have me 123rd of 197. However, I passed about 19 players with my final round, only passed by one !
I'm actually enjoying testing my new course in the 'rain' conditions, softening up everything. The rainbows & ball tracks on the damp greens are kind of cool. It can make tiered greens almost as tough as 'very firm' when you miss your target plateau. Tourneys are rarely played in the wet here, though.

Is just a graphic effect absolutely not influent in the conditions of the course, but (way worst thing) it also causes lags and graphic issues. Is this the reason why is never used on Tour. A real shame, i really hope they will fix it in the new game. Good luck for your tournament this week

That's too bad. So far no graphics glitches in it for me on the XB1. It would make more sense if when I select rain to play in, the greens & fairways "auto-soften", rather than having to select each manually. Still, it can be made to play 'wet', after a fashion.
Hopefully, I have a better tourney this week. I had been ahead of field average for 10 of the last 12 weeks. Not earthshattering, but 'better than average' works for me !
May you go around in the fewest strokes yourself !

Alright, fellow CCZers, Alamiss GC is done, so I can finally just play the game for a couple of weeks (before the designer bug bites again). Maybe I can get back into the top 100 at least. I mean, a +12 HDCP should mean I'm competitive SOMETIME, right ?

Congrats to low-scoring Canadians Jeremy & Ryan atop the leaderboard last week.
I enjoyed Kentuck Knob, even if I could only muster -8 for the tourney.
The social aspect of the Tour seems to be lacking in the CC-Z thread ... 5 days, no posts from anyone ! WHASSSUP out there ?
I haven't played this week yet, but from the scores, Desert Sands might be tough. Anyone got comments on their rounds so far that will entertain, but not assist ?
At the very least, I'd better 'pack' 4 pairs of shorts for my avatar this week, it's triple digits out there !

Bob the first two rounds conditions are tough, Very fast greens definitely gave the course some bite. Thanks ! They kind of were, but it's all about the pin placements. Some were literally one yard from the edge Had & missed a 3 ft putt ... from the rough, LOL.
Still, under par through 2 ... probably play the 'weekend' on Wednesday or Thursday, see what kind of score others on other platforms are posting.
Saw A LOT of upper 50s by XBoxers in Rd4, when I peaked a bit.

Hey guys, I am Acido from Germany. I was just denoted from CC-G to CC-Z. I am playing TGC 2019 since a few months now and I must say its big fun.
This tournament started pretty ugly for me with a +2 in the strong winds of Desert Sands GC. My ball was nearly impossible to control on the greens. Round 2 was a little better. I manged to hit one under. I may have made a mistake with round 3 and 4, because I have switched to Master Clubs. This was very good for my score (-4 and -3) but the results do not show up on top of the leaderboard. I didn't know a rule disallowing this.

Hi If i remember well, if the rule is still the same, if you play some round with Pro Clubs and some round with Master Clubs there is no problem, the only difference is that your final score will be always considered obtained with Pro Clubs. Your score should appear in the standings, in every case. Good luck for your career, have fun

Welcome aboard Acido, and Ezzino is always a good source of info.
This week's course is certainly inviting to switch up to Masters, but after a 10 under 3rd round, I'll stick with my Pros, thank you very much.
Those first round pins were really nasty, we all seem to agree. I was happy to end up even after 2 rounds (+3, -3).

Those first round pins were really nasty, we all seem to agree. I was happy to end up even after 2 rounds (+3, -3). Thank you for your kind words But i'm definitely not the most expert guy who could ever give some advice about..anything I'm here more or less by a year and i still ignore lot of things and slowly i learn something every day. I simply try to be kind and helpful, especially with new guys, cause i know is always difficult to join a community...and because i really love this community (my first online community and i think is the best i could ever find), but that's all. I do nothing special and it costs nothing to me. This premise just to say that, about the rule on the switch to other clubs, please unless you already did it before, try to verify first if i'm correct assuming is all ok. Because, while i'm sure the rule was the one i explaned, i must admit i don't check the rules page by months..i can't be totally sure is still the same. I would feel myself horrible if, following my words, someone should ever be disqualified. I'll check the rules when i'll be at my pc (from my phone i have serious issues to use the TGCT site) Good luck for your tournament and have a good week!

Thanks guys, I asked the support, and it is no problem switching clubs in amateur tours. There seems to be a general problem with the leaderboard, that's what I was told.

Well, I'm baaaaack.
Sixteen under par not enough to avoid fast-track down. Does anybody discuss the tourney anymore, or when we walk off the course, do we just go to our virtual cars & leave ? And here I thought I was antisocial, lol.

Sometimes I wonder if other CC-Z players even know the forum exists - my post from over two weeks ago was still the last one up.
Best 4 rounds for this duffer in a while, bogey-free for my last 47 holes ... still only squeaking into the top 100, and top 50 on XBox, but pretty satisfying nonetheless.
See you on the next tee box !
